Thought it was such a cool show. I would have been 24, can't believe I found time to watch TV.

As a kid I was really into Airwolf because I thought a helicopter that could do what it did was really cool. Then I grow up and find out most of it isnt possible. Kind of like Blue Thunder.

I also liked Knight Rider for the cool car, Tesla still has a ways to go to replicate KITT.

Loved that show!! Also loved that they kept a couple of the helicopters at Palomar airport.

Still remember when the guy was working on the helo and a phone call came in.. he starts walking and the other guy says where ya going? He says if it’s important they will call back in case they dialed the wrong number..

Ah the days when everyone didn’t have an answering machine.. fuck I’m old.

I worked at Universal when Airwolf premiered. The crew had a nickname for Jan Michael Vincent. Jan Michael Vodka. He had such a promising career.

I did a job in Coto De Caza MANY years ago . . . . the 1st day on the job, we went to grab lunch at the little market in the center of that community. When we got to the market we were told, "Don't buy any alcohol for that guy sitting on the bench over there, even if he gives you money". Turns out it was Jan Michael Vincent . . . he was in very rough shape . . . super sad to see.
I remember him being great in the movie 'Big Wednesday'.

I remember when I was 5 or 6 my dad and I sailed a good bit during the summer. Once we were out by catalina and caught them filming for the show. It was cool to see live.

I loved the show. After they fired Vincent and moved the production to Vancouver. The show sucked. They filmed at the airport my dad kept his planes at. But they used stock footage of Airwolf. So didn't get to see it.

Happy heavenly birthday Dominic Santini,
Remembering the late, great Ernest Borgnine, 24 January 1917 - 8 July 2012. RIP.

Maybe it was this one you saw.🤔
In 1984, Catalina Island and the Casino were filming locations for the Airwolf episode "Sins of the Past". A replica of the Casino was set ablaze in the episode...,
