It was just announced on Fox News, that the four familiy members, lost since Sunday in the woods and snow near Inskip/Sterling City, CA (east of Chico), have been found, and are being evacuated by helicopter to a school near Paradise, CA.
They went up there from Sacramento to cut down a Christmas tree....they had on tennis shoes and light jackets....it wasn't snowing when they left home, and their truck was found with no snow under it (meaning when they parked it hadn't started snowing).
Unless they found a cabin to stay in, they must have had 3 cold nights...they have had 3 or 4 feet of snow up there since Sunday.
Glad they are OK.
