depends on anything - how well and properly it was maintained. its a GM block marinized by Indmar. Prob have a MEFI 4 ecm if its an early 2001 or back then MEFI 3 ecm.

Just a big block Chevy, a fine starting point for a mild build, not sure if they’re 4 bolt mains

Mine was a 1996.
Advertised as 400 hp.
Steel forged crank, 4 bolt mains.
Hyperutectic (sp?) Pistons
Peanut port heads, non adjustable valve train.
Flat tappet cam.
GM iron intake, Q-jet style.
Prestolite distributor.
Logs and snails.
In my (first) jet botë.
Pulled an 'A' impeller to 4800

After the a impeller did you notice a major difference? Or was it like just a little difference

Boat had an A impeller, engine decided to eat #8 piston.

Bored a different block, turned crank, better heads and intake, Comp Cam, Bassett headers. 72.8 mph @ 5300 rpm
