488 lb Feral Hog

Hunters took a big 'un up in LIberty County near where the lady was killed last fall by hogs......488 lbs of nasty pork for the buzzards.

They shot it at night from 20 yards using thermal vision and low speed rounds

LIBERTY COUNTY, Texas -- A feral hog weighing a whopping 488 pounds was killed on Saturday in The Preserve, formerly known as Cypress Lakes.

According to a report published by Bluebonnet News, a pair of hunters with Nuisance Wildlife Removal shot the hog, as well as six others that each topped the scales at 250 pounds.


Joel Dudley, owner of Nuisance Wildlife Removal, was hunting the hogs with his friend, Mike Huckabay, when they came across a group of hogs clustered around one of the community's ponds.

"We were in there doing hog eradication because they have become so overpopulated," Dudley said. "They have been tearing up the whole dang subdivision."

I tried not to know anybody... My house got broken into after being there a year or so. I walked in the front door in time to see them bail out the back. Me and my new bride had that place sold a week later. Best move I ever made. Prick druggy started the ball rolling for me to end up where I am...

Saw a group of 4-5 of those bastards right by the 15 fwy above the river last month.. Good sized too
