SOLD! 509 Big Block Chevrolet built by Pfaff Racing Engines. Roughly 35 hours run time after build. Engine was broken in on the Dyno and then tuned on the Dyno. Dyno sheet provided.

Engine made 577.4 ft-lbs @ 4,400 RPM and 563.6 HP @ 5,693 RPM.

Engine was built with lower compression as I was planning on installing a Blower or Whipple at a later date. Now my projects are going in a different direction.

What did it do on hp after 4,400? Looks like it kept going on the tq numbers. Maybe a typo?

I may be ready to repower or refresh my 502. Any idea what it would cost to refresh, 440 hours on it? Would it bolt right up or would out require $$$ to make the swap?

You should jump on this deal. All you would need is exhaust and a couple of carbs and the huffer and your new sled would be back in the water over this next weekend. The horsepower and torque numbers would be way better too.:D
You can't buy the parts for much less than what he is asking. :D

It will....with big enough carbs and the right pulleys.:D
Start with a 58 bottom and a 43 upper and don't worry about the idle surge. It will sound like it is just pissed off and ole RD will be grinnin when you take him for a ride.:D
