love the profile of that hull - very clean! I also like the way Harlan built in the back splash on the back of the engine bay.

This is the second boat I have had Harlan do that style of back splash on a wood deck...always thought that Julian P had the right idea on that deal...

Lenco is fixed and re-installed, everything fits back together like someone knew how to rig a boat(thanks).
May try to run it next week. I'll call if it is gonna happen.

Yeah I had to go up and grab the holes up around the water ports.
Probably going to mount a River Rat or like pump to the plate and run a Gilmore belt off the dampner...never seen a RR pump mounted remote, but I think it will work and sure look a lot better than say a mercruiser pump.
After that I'll do a little trimmin...

Thats definately thinkin outside the box!! So the pump will be turned around backwards I'm guessing and you will make a pulley to fit the drive? That'll be interesting! :thumbsup

Had the tank built by Brian out at "Tank It" in Lake Havasu City(thanks Roaddogg for the delivery to Long Beach).
He did a Great job on it.
I would highly recommend his company for any custom fuel/oil tank you may need.
Should hold right at 16 gallons.

How do you know where to set the engine I see them sometimes further back and sometimes mid boat I was wondering how it is determined.

Real nice......hey newbie, stick to the shallow end of the pool, before you play with the big boys in the deep end.

This is such a beautiful boat.
Question: is there any issues from encapsulating the stringers? Can you make stuff too stiff and will it work against the movement of the hull?

Pretty standard these days on the Circle boats. They typically have a much shorter/narrower stringer than most hulls and actually the rigid rigging helps keep the boat true when slowing down and accelerating through the corners. That is one of the reasons the Carbon Fiber SS80 works so well...very little flex...

Gettin a few more parts bolted in.
Engine will come out one more time for starter placement and bellhousing.
Also have to polish a few parts and strip off color Ano.
Will be hard lining most everything.

Got rid of the bell crank assy. and was able to run cable direct.
Made a billet mount for the fuel pump.
Mike Leach was by today to measure for custom headers.

Mike Leach brought the headers down on Saturday.
We wanted something custom that would keep the heat away from the lumber in the deck and be unlike any other header out there.
We will be running a Dan Olson Square Sided scoop on the engine as well.
With the Shorty Headers and Scoop I wanted to salute the Master of the Unblown Hemi...Somewhere up in heaven, Dandy Dick is chompin' on a Cigar and smilin!:D:D
Beautiful job as always Mr. Leach!

Got most all the hard lines done.
Spark Plug wires are gonna need some tidying up since we tried to tuck the headers in as close as possible.
