Mercury is going to need to release some 2,000 hp motors lol

He has been working on that thing for longer than 5 years! He started on it when mine was back there!

I have always heard the 46 was of the best and most efficient running of the lineup (it was originally designed to be a 4 engine cat) but was up to speed with just two engines.

I wonder if this will run just as well.

Probably Pete's last project.

Summarize..
55ft deck boat, that should run 140-150mph and it will weigh 14000-15000lbs..

What could go wrong?

Holy shit, thats gonna cost some serious coin, be stupid expensive to operate and maintain, But damn,,,, when can I go for a ride…
Sounds like one hell of a party boat.

If it shares any pedigree with the rest of Peter’s designs it won’t be a party boat. It’ll be all business with a smaller cockpit than you’d think.

150 mph on a 55ft boat is kind of a terrifying thought.

Only thing terrifying about it will be how it'll feel like a Cadillac and give a sense of over confidence. 150 in that thing will feel like 70 in a smaller boat.

Says they can set it up with quad in/outs or twins. I'd think a set of 1550's would push it along well enough.

Possible candidate for two Sixteen Power's? Would fit nicely and most likely less costly to maintain than the quad cams. 🤔

I don't think you'll be able to tow that behind the MOHO. 😁

Anyone remember when they lunched the 44 magic on Parker for the regatta and trailer got stuck on the ramp? 🤪
Would be cool for someone to track down decent pics of one of those 44' magics lmao.

Quad 860s would be interesting. Lose the rebuild intervals of the 1550s.

Honestly I think I would want twins over quads. Quads just mean you have a chance of something breaking 4 times.

How about freight training quad 1550's?
12,400 HP should get you to Cuba and back before Homeland Security or the Coast Guard could figure out that all the noise was on the water rather than an Air Strike. :D

I know the 52 MTI runs hard with 1550’s, and even harder with 1750’s.

Remember the quad Nortech?

I’d like to feel the acceleration.

I hope this Skater gets some cool power, but above all, I hope it gets finished and running.

Nor tech actually built multiple quad powered cats. Prince from some african Provence had two of them. One sunk in Hawaii. 🤦‍♂️

Don’t Alexi built 800ci psi blower motors that are like 2000hp?

Those would be perfect.

They can make a lot more than that. I think the one in his Schiada was 2500?
That’s the compound turbo/blower deal.

I was think of this
