No real info on the engine. 2 stroke? 4 stroke? Supercharged?.....

I’d like to see this “revolutionary” concept on quelling the balance issues of a large 4-banger.

I’m assuming it’s a take on balance shafts like everyone else, but we’ll see...

In the meantime, Koenigsegg has a 2.0L 3-cylinder twin turbo engine that makes over 600hp, but the duty cycle of a boat is totally different...

It’s easy to make horsepower...600hp out of 2L is child’s play. Making horsepower live is an entirely different ballgame.
I have a friend (who passed) that spent the last 20 years of his life chasing the 2nd order harmonic and achieved well north of 400hp on a N/A Honda K20 engine...header and intake work, then tune to optimize.

Their proof of concept is a 30 horse 2 cylinder. Sounds a little short of the 650 horse goal. Isn't this a 4 cylinder version of a 7 marine motor except it weighs 800 lbs instead of 1000. Still too heavy....

Horsepower hours.

They don't even have an engine yet.

30 months before the first (6) prototype(s).
(That's December of 2023, if they started today, and they haven't started).

Sounds like a pipe dream.

Maybe 5 years before a product.
