6x9's

Anyone still rocking those rockford fosgate t1693's? Im swapping out my roached old 6x9's next week . Im just filling holes ..dont wanna change up much other than add a pair of 6's or something in the bow. JL's or RF's seem to be the go-to.. Those of you running 6x9's still..what do you have..?

I am looking to buy all new 6x9s to replace the Sony Xplod that are original. One is bad but thinking just buy 6 new. Polk audio was the ones I was looking at.

I had Boss Marine stuff in my last boat. No major complaints about the speakers, their Customer service sucked though.

I have a set of real deal made in Germany MB Quart 3 ways sitting in the box in Havasu, I’d let go for $100

Pretty sure they are MB QUART DTE-169 6" X 9" 3-WAY DISCUS 4 OHM.

I’ll be in Havasu this weekend and can confirm exactly which model.

From 2002 ish. I had them in my car in college and now they’ve been back in the original box on a shelf for years, like 15 years lol. Shit now I feel old.

I have the same t1693s. Swapped out the 14 year old head unit as well, so I can’t tell how they perform against the old Alpine Rs. They seem to do all things well, not one thing great. I don’t run a sub so I have them set to deliver solid mid range sound to cover various genres of music.

I have Fosgate 6x9's. I don't know what model I have. They are the only speakers I have in my boat. [emoji52]

They are all good but the rockfords can/will be on another level if installed correctly and I do this every day and not a Rockford dealer so that should tell you something
