What’s the going rate for a 2002 f250 4x4 long bed extra cab xlt grey with 66k on it?
Friend is selling it for 15,500. Looks clean seems cheap

Extra cab hurts the value, as does 2wd (if it is 2wd).

With the low miles, price seems in line and fair. If it was 4wd crew cab short bed, 25-30 all day with that low of mileage....

I paid 29k for my one owner extremely clean 02 7.3 CCLB 4x4 a year ago with 98k miles. The extended cab will hurt it a little, but it's still a low mile 7.3. There are plenty of people out there looking for them, you can't go wrong at that price. Buy it.

This guy has a pretty good inventory of these older trucks, all are super clean. https://njtruckking.com/

$27K if you hold out. There's a cult following for Supercabs. It would be sold quick at $21K.

No ad. It’s sf Bay Area. I have the same truck but 1999 with 160k. 15,500 seems cheap for 4x4 7.3 w/66k on it. I’m not looking to buy but I thought it would make a nice work truck or new drivers 1st truck. I’m swinging by tonight to get the story and check it out

Checked it out last night, paint(clear) on passenger side is peeled. Has a small oil leak, door ajar light stays on and needs at least 2 tires.

Guy at the Ford dealer tried to give me 35 for mine a little over a month ago although I suspect he was trying to get me into a 95k pickup.

So, looking under the hood on the passengers side is that cover where the AC components are behind the battery. I recently took my truck in to have an oil leak fixed and mine still has that cover. The guy that owned the shop, long time ford service mechanic said his techs were asking what that was, he told them he hasn't seen one with that still on it in years, everyone takes them off. Things you notice lol

paint is meh as long as the body is straight.

oil leak? well its a 7.3. I chase oil leaks left and right on mine. turbo pedestal, valve covers, and oil cooler are the common spots. Ive reseled my oil cooler 4 times: 3 myself, and the most recent time had a shop do it. every time I get about 5k out of it before it starts leaking again. ive grown to be ok with a small drip every now and then lol.

door ajar light is more than likely the body control module. Common on Fords of this era.

all in all, seams like a fair asking price to me

I take back what I said earlier on price. That truck has some history. I'm guessing it was wrecked on the passenger side. Gray Ford paint does get sun damage over the years but not like that and doesn't peel. Another give away of a possible wreck is the airbag on the steering wheel is not original. Ford started installing steering wheel airbags with the blue Ford oval logo starting in the 03 model year. 99-02 have a black Ford oval that is molded into the airbag.

Door Ajar - spray some WD 40 on the latch mechanism........... if that doesn't fix it, check out youtube, common problem.

I sold my 2001 F250 Powerstroke with 244K to my friends kid for $5000. haha. I know I could of gotten more but I was OK with it at the time but I think I should have kept it. Just passed 300K miles

Yep they get dirty. Tri Flow works a little better than WD40. I have 2 sticking on the excursion.

After looking at those pictures I have a lot of questions. Looks a bit rough for 66k miles. My truck has 85k and still looks new and I use it like a truck.
