Thinking about restoring this old flatty any info would be helpful.
Change the jet out for a split-bowl and put a droop snoot on it. Maybe Jetboatperformance will chime in.My Dad was friends with Bill (Gaylord Boats) as he used to build trailers for him. From conversations over the years I recall a Flat Bottom jet coming up in conversation and it didn't perform for shit as the pump is out of the water on plane. Bill was a regular at the enduros and tried a lot of stuff. I am not a jet guy and this is only from shop talk memories between my dad and Ken Meyers (B&K Boats) over the years.
ive had several gaylord flattys v drive never seen a jet...thats a cool fine..........fun boat..thats a true flat so maybe somebody turned it into a jet.......fricken awsome...
