Anyone have a 12 gauge 30” modified choke barrel for an 870 they are willing to part with? Or one with screw in choke?

Anyone know if an 870 Wingmaster and an 870 Express takes the same barrel for a swap?

The wingmaster has a blued barrel and the express is more of a black so it wont match the receiver. Set aside from the finish you would want to make sure your putting a 3” max barrel on a 3” receiver. If you put a 3” max barrel on a 2 3/4 receiver it would be best to match max shell size to the receiver. But in short yes they will fit.

Good question, reminded me that mine is a wingmaster and that is the barrel I am looking for.

Send the barrel off and have choke tubes installed.

My Wingmaster has a skeet choke, 26". I tried for years to get a modified choke on a 30" barrel, but gave up and bought a Browning Citori with the versa-choke system.

Thank you for the offer, the price is unbeatable. Mine is the wingmaster so it is blued so I will have to pass. I think im going to pick up a beretta A300 and leave the wingmaster alone.
I have a wing master with a full barrel. Bought an a300 a couple years ago.

The A300 is a great gun. Ive had 0 issues.

Not sure what your using it for but I'm an CA and hunt so if you hunt in CA just make sure the chokes you buy can handle steal shot.

Thats great feedback. I think the a300 ultima comes with 3 chokes but I could be wrong.

Nice! Like I said it's a great gun. Smooth, reliable and layout of the action release is great. I forgot what I paid but I know is was less then the other name brands and I haven't been disappointed.

The a300 ultima would be under $900 OTD. When you get in the 400 series it pretty much doubles.

Pretty sure I'll drop as many Doves with a300 as I would the 400 lol.

Thats for sure. You can get a 3 1/2” receiver in some of the 400’s if you shoot a fat duck load. And the 400 has some better looking options. If I was shooting trap on a weekly base id have a 400.
