Sorry, I did t get a great pic of the 5x7s flying on the houseboat today but I'm pretty sure today was the first time a sailboater actually made me not cringe

I have my flag flying, have for quite a while now. But I thought I'd post this instead. Nicole Gee was one of the 13 Marines killed in Afghanistan and her father lives 2 streets over from me. This is his house. Pretty much driven by it every day since I found out. On a side note my neighborhood is filled with crimson and yellow ribbons in memory of her.

Good on all of you for letting it fly. I put mine out early this morning, a beautiful, sunny, late summer day, just like September 11, 2001.

Little man ran into a group of Veterans doing the poppy flower donation delio at our supermarket. He went up to them by himself threw down some cash and took some pics for the crew while hanging out for a few. They gave him a flag to match his boot's and this is how he fell asleep. I tried to move it after he passed out but soon as he felt it moving he put a death grip on it and yanked it out of my hands before I could react lol
