South of Lowe’s, multiple fatalities.
This crosses my mind all the time. I travel constantly between Kingman and Havasu/Bullhead and I40 is brutal between Beale st and Stockton Hiill rd exits. Especially the off ramp to Stockton Hill. The potholes are deep enough the pull the steering wheel out of your hand. I know where they are and still get surprised by them. Too sad about the Havasu accident. My wife worked at the fatal a few months ago, same exact place, I wonder if the bumpy bridge has something to do with it, people are not paying attention and it upsets the car and they over correct or something.
Heard it was bad from some people that were there shortly after. RIP.
The accident took place at about 4 p.m., when one of the involved vehicles drove into oncoming traffic between North Palo Verde Boulevard and Lake Drive. According to police, two were pronounced dead at the scene. Initial reports indicated that several other passengers in the two-vehicle accident were transported to Havasu Regional Medical Center for emergency medical treatment.
I read Mother and Daughter killed. Father and 2 other children in critical condition.Havasu News reports green Range Rover was southbound and swerved into northbound lanes striking the Armada head on. A woman and child in the Armada were killed at the scene. 3 others in the Armada with serious injuries were transported. Female driver of the Range Rover was also injured and transported.
Add to the scenario that people like to drive with their wrist draped over the wheel instead of actually having a hand on it. I see people driving on mountain roads with very tight turns with a wrist limp draped over the wheel. Each turn turns into about 12 turns. Scary to see jerk jerk jerk jerk thru the turn. Just trying to crash. Not saying this is the case with this accident. Sad deal. Prayers to the families. This crosses my mind all the time.
