Pretty moving pics.

Years ago I went to Phoenix and did a boat for Louie at Kachina Boats.
At his house he had a small curio cabinet with some pics and small items.
One pic was the dirt floor house he grew up in down in the Deep South.

A couple other pics were Vietnam war pics. A bit more graphic and gnarly than these. And, if you looked close one of the guys in the pics, was him.

2019-Ford-F-550-Towing.jpg

WHAT CAN THE 2019 FORD F-550 TOW?
With the 6.8-liter, gasoline-powered V10 and a conventional towing setup, the Ford F-550 can tow max loads of 18,500 pounds. The same goes for the 6.7-liter turbodiesel V8 engine. Both powertrains are more than capable of towing a trailer full of construction supplies or heavy machinery. Throw a gooseneck trailer rig into the mix and the gas-powered model can tow up to 20,700 pounds. The diesel engine will get you a lot further, however, towing up to 31,800 pounds worth of gooseneck trailer. That amount of power will haul major farming equipment or one luxurious toy hauler.

Built in upper New York in 1925, abandoned in the 70's sat on the market for sale for past several years until taken off the market recently, not sold.

Main house numerous other buildings on property and a wine vineyard.

Kind've weird to think the house I own is older than this house.

Wow! What a shame. Beautiful house. At least it was once. :(
There's a LOT of really cool abandoned old mansions and castles and shit all over the place. Some have really trippy stories too. Stuff intrigues me.

Me too. I’ve seen the ones posted in this thread. Definitely a trip. I dig old architecture and imagine living in these places back when they were built. Totally different than the standard 3/2 track house in an LA suburb.
Thanks for posting and keeping this thread going. There are some amazing things and places in this world that most of us never get to see.

Yea, I've always really dug "ghost towns", abandoned buildings, abandoned houses, etc. I can remember as a little kid wanting to stop at all the dilapidated abandoned shacks or gas stations or whatever that were off to the side of the road when we were on vacations. Trips me out to think that this place, whatever it is, was someone's home, or office or work, or play area or whatever. And years and years years of time went by and then one day, for who knows why, they just walked away. Trips me out. I also like to see the potential of renovation of a lot of the old mansions and houses or buildings. Whole topic just straight up intrigues me. Probably why I post a lot of abandoned stuff photos.

I see that crap all the time.... these newer trucks can pull a mountain but don't have the suspension or brakes to do anything like that....

Accident waiting to happen

That is crazy!

My uncle was a door gunner in Vietnam for a huey. I've always loved the hueys. I feel very lucky that I get to go up in one couple times a year. Love sitting in the gunner seat with the doors open. Few months ago I got to fly up front and take the stick for a bit. Pretty bitchen!

My uncle was too! USMC, '66-68 in Nam. He was in Bill Bastards. I still have his company patch and a flight jacket.

Someone once told me after we were talking about my uncle that the life expediency for a door gunner, or maybe the whole crew(?) was 18 days. My uncle did 2 tours, 2 purple hearts. He's still with us and hardly ever talks about 'Nam but when he does its amazing stories for a 18 year old kid that grew up in Bullhead City.
