what a beautiful day, NO WIND, sunny, T shirt & shorts all day, :thumbsup
races were great even though the classes were small, only 4 crackerboxes, NO K boats :skull, the pro stocks, super stocks & GN boats were good. The last heat of the SS/PS class will run off at 8:30 am tomorrow. One of the guy's, #44, flipped & sunk coming outta the turn going to the start line so that was the end of the racing for today,......after the PS/SS run in the morning they'll run the GN final, .........two of the fastest classes 1st thing in the morning. They clocked one of the SS boats at 110+ mph in the straightaway  Should be another good day at the races ......................we're headed out to the dunes for a little night ride in about an hour :D...............can't hardly wait to get back home,... I can use a "rest" :D

The guy driving the 44 boat was Paul Fitzgerald. For you ski racing people, he is Marsha Bown/Meier/Fitzgerald's husband. One of the nicest, classiest and best flatbottom drivers around. All our prayers for a speedy full recovery!!!!

He is at Sunrise Hospital in Vegas with 9 broken ribs, broken clavicle and a lot of bruising.

All the best for a speedy recovery.

Ouch,, sorry to hear that! Paul pulled me at a Chula Vista circle ski race about a million years ago.

Best to Paul, by some of the pics i've seen it could have been really bad. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Not all the classes were small. We started with 8 Comp Jets and had 6 in the final. Our boat hit 91 mph in the final at one point. It was a blast.
