A Helpful FYI - My Cali DMV Trip

On Saturday, the wifey and I, and our 16-year old daughter went to DMV without appointments (Riverside "East"). Our business was written driving test for the daughter, and 2 "Real ID" license renewals. In and out in about an hour.

Last year I went during the week without an appointment and it was a 3.5 hour deal, so I get the frustration with delays. That said, Saturdays are the hookup. A co-worker visited Rancho Cucamonga on a Saturday for a written driving test and was out in a 1/2 hour.

I told wife they would be busy at 8:00 a.m. when they opened up, so we got there about 10:00 a.m., and by the time we left there was no line. The DMV chick said 2:00 p.m. and the place is empty.

Good call on the 4:55.
