picked up a 10 ft i spotted sitting in someone's backyard. the guy bought it and never sorted out the controls on the boat. its got a old merc 35 oil injected motor that i know nothing about. it sat for a loooonnnggg time. for how long it sat uncovered its not in too bad of shape imo. the black is sun faded and dull but it doesnt bother me too much for now. the interior cleaned up nice. i ripped out the carpet and the floor seemed solid and looks decent .

idk what the boat was used for at one time but it had 2 hooks of some sort bolted to the side of the boat. maybe to lift it out of the water? or make shift cleats? but now have 6 holes in side :grumble:

Yacht tender. Those are hooks for the big boats deck hoist...

Boat looks good!!

As far as the faded black that's no problem at all. A quick wetsand and buff it will look new again! :)

Unfortunately the holes in the non skid are next to impossible to fix.. Might be able to pull something off, but it's difficult to tell from the pictures.

Pull that windshield off of it, and the deck holes are easy to fix. Have them fixed after you wetsand and buff the boat, so they can get a true color match on the colors.

What's the deal with that rubrail? I'd pull that off and put something else on.. You're gonna pull it off when you wetsand and buff it anyways.

Start poking that floatation foam out of the front of it. :)

That looks like a REAL EASY build to me.. A lot easier then any of the ones I'm dealing with anyways. :D

As always let me know if you need any help! You got my #.

Congrats on the boat by the way!! (Did I mention westand and buff?)

(Take some pictures 'overall" of the transom hardware I want to see it)

Looks like they're only on one side and they don't hoist boats sidways....everything will fall out of the boat and probably dump gas all over. But then that's just my take  and this is comming from a roll bar dude so I could be wrong.

Start poking that floatation foam out of the front of it.

Why does he need to do that? what if he starts sinking on a busy weekend? I was glad the old Hallett had that stuff when I went bow up and started floating down river, and that was a 19 footer. Just wondering?

this is jr, as for lil HYE, hye in the armenian language means armenian and my mom thought it be funny to name the boat a lil HYE. and ya the boat could have been used for that, there are some stress cracks in the non-skid by the holes. ;( i am guessing that is a tough fix as well...

whatever stand off plate mount thingy it is, it slides up and down to adjust the motor height, it then backed by a big ugly piece of dimound plate then bolted with 2 on top and 2 below. the rub rail is like off of a bumper boat lol.

the controls that are for this motor are shot on this thing and all ripped apart. i doubt this was the orginal motor on it, the ignition switch and the kill switch (safety cable thing) that are mounted next to the steering wheel are have different connections. for the steering a old cable is stuck and mushroomed inside of the shaft were it is supposed to go

i think thats a lot better than the paddle board:D

PattleBoard is man down do to neighbors dog eating it.. LOL :D

Andrew, the guys in my shop can fix that little outboard up for you no problem, and get it running tip top..

if you can get the boat to Parker this summer Outdrive1 can handle all your fiberglass gel needs on the cheap. ;) (Becaues you're my neighbor)

I can help you with any fabrication on the back of the boat, and making that shit look / function right.
