It’s almost as though he’s a shareholder...

I’m going with employee the way he lost his shit.

Brian Deese, who leads the National Economic Council, served as an investment executive at BlackRock. Adewale Adeyemo was chief of staff to BlackRock CEO Larry Fink and now works as a top official at the U.S. Treasury Department.

BlackRock’s former chief investment strategist Michael Pye now serves as the chief economic advisor to Vice President Kamala Harris and previously worked for the Obama administration.

FED supported and fucking the middle class.......

“Free market capitalism”

without engaging a long diatribe on the US tradition of the political appointees and where they come from ( married to Amway, or to a Bloomingdale's heiress or whatever), I do not understand your assessment against capitalism in the US. predictably that means I will be called an imbecile.

do you have an alternative to the way capitalism works in the US...

Reg...are you just ranting?

No, I believe in capitalism, just not when the FED is using taxpayer money to prop up a globalist corporation who’s FUCKING the middle class all in the name of “capitalism”

Home ownership is the key to wealth building and has been the pillar of the American dream for decades and they are undermining it..........for wealth confiscation errrrrrrr the Great Reset.

Heard people talking on KPFK public radio today. Almost appalling to listen too, definitely sickening.
90.7 I believe for you so cal/IE folks.
This is one of the organizations they support.

The most sickening thing with "Public Radio" is ALL the "Public Money" they receive. How about go EARN The $'s and then Talk all the Shit you want, but NOT with my Money. Juan Williams is a Prime Example of this.👎

Black rock does not buy with government funds they buy with privately raised funds.

But step back for a second and look at your view. The government should regulate who can and who can not buy houses. They should prevent private equity such as black rock from being in the marketplace lowering the price a seller can get for their house. Why just regulate black rock? Why not every small buyer of rental properties as they all are just raising sales prices? Who should the government decide gets to buy a house and who doesn’t? Why should any of us get to buy a rental property if black rock can not as we are all raising the demand curve? And who in the government gets that power?

At the core the government saying that homesellers need to take less so other home buyers can buy for less. How is that not any different than the government raising taxes on some to subsidize housing for others via low income housing?

As opposed to more regulation as you propose why not less regulation. Is the supply/demand imbalance not due to the exact solution which you propose, more government regulation? Maybe if it didn’t take three years to permit a new subdivision and there were not massive taxes via tariffs on building supplies implemented by the government the supply and demand would be more in balance?

We agree there is a problem, your solution is more government, mine is less. They used to call such views as mine conservative.
You are NOT Arguing for less government! You were arguing for status quo...Completely misunderstanding that it is not capitalism or free markets. Can You explain to me how they get their hands on money at .5 percent. If there were a gold standard it may be a different story. Monopolies and other concentration of ownership is the opposite of a free market. Are you familiar with the debates between Hamilton and Jefferson? It was the very reason for our revolution. Central banking and the finance implications… At its worst

FWIW, the fed is not a government entity. When they set rates low, everyone...small business, consumers, and everyone using financing benefits from the low time value of money. When pension funds invest, they put money into funds like those BlackRock offers, doing their best to assure their middle class pensioners and employees of a secure future.

The losers in low fed rates are banks and very wealthy funds that are required by their capital rules to allocate the portfolio according to asset risk allocations. This reduces their return when compared to VC funds that can gamble more freely.

I don't believe home ownership is 'the' key to wealth building...an overall smart tactical approach is necessary. Since returns on home ownership itself is around 3% per year, ownership is 'better' than renting only if the ownership cost is lower than cost to rent in accumulation. But, obviously, the returns from the stock market or for an established business are greater than 3% and would be a much smarter way to invest.

Now...Would you like blue cheese, italian, ranch, or house dressing with that?

Yes Lucy I know the Fed is not a government entity, thank you very much for pointing that out.

Homeownership is absolutely the key to building wealth for the majority of the population in this country. 90% of this country doesn’t have $3000 a month In discretionary spending to piss away on rent.

Would you like some Heinz 57 with that?

Lucero, this is where reg Americans agree. Left and right. You can’t borrow at the same rate as black rock. This is the definition of inequality. Our country is not a corporation it’s a country. This is not a free market...it’s a fucking scam where some are more equal than others!

The best steak sauce for shitty steak ever!!! 😝
He should love that, straight from John Kerry's in laws. 🤪
I believe Lucy liked to point out hand picked billionaire appointees, well here is one who hates America and had to marry in to money. Imbeciles, every one of them.

I had hoped someone would make that case. Please, continue. How do the inequities stack up in the assessment you have made?

The coordination between big business and big gubment IS NATIONAL SOCIALISM. In a free market black rock could not get a special deal. And when they corner a market...(anti competitive) the government’s main role is to protect property rights...and break them up!

socialism has and always will benefit those in power at the expense of the people they pretend to help.

I definitely understand that perspective. do you have a suggested solution? What is the socialist policy, regulation, or law we need to abolish or tweak?

Thanks.
Another hint.
Spend the money for something that is actual cheese.
The “cheese product” I’m pretty sure is flavored plastic.
oh man. that is funny. I got some 'salsa' from $ store one time. very salty, and the salt merely accentuated the flavor of bleach that the salsa was imbued with. another time, bought some cheap cloths to use for garage cleaning etc. they didn't last more than two uses before they literally disintegrated. I have gotten some good stuff at a good price, but there are about 1 in 10 deals that are ...not.

Thank you for asking. The answer is FREEDOM!!! from the criminal anti American democrap party and the pussy fake republicraps. Less gubment with focus on the constitution and our god given rights! Pull the power from the FED which fucks with money that is not backed by anything. Stop this ridiculous division based on race.
