Another unfortunate loss in a General Special election by a MAGA endorsed candidate.

Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) – approved in 2020, and the first election using it will be run later in 2022 for the vacant U.S. House seat left behind by the deceased Don Young. Ranked Choice Voting allows a pathway for extreme candidates to supplant candidates who are most likely to be elected with strong pluralities, and practically entrenches incumbents in Democrat strongholds.

Experimentation with mail-in voting – as with RCV, mail-in voting will be the method for the U.S. House race coming later in 2022. With Alaska’s hostile climate and influence from west coast neighbors, it is only a matter of time until a full-on blitz begins to entrench mail-in voting.

Multiple bills have been introduced in the current legislative session to address voter integrity issues, including voter signature verification, but they have languished in various House and Senate committee assignments. Lt. Gov. Kevin Meyer submitted legislation to the current Legislature to address this issue, but his Senate Bill 167 has languished in the Senate State Affairs Committee since Jan. 18th with no movement. Several other bills dealing with voter signature verification have been introduced, including House Bill 96 by Gov. Mike Dunleavy. That bill has stalled in the House State Affairs Committee.

And, once again, the national Republican Party was AWOL. They did nothing.

Nice try clown, yore RINO's in the AK legislature and D.C. just doing what they do, running cover for their hierarchy.

It would appear a recurring theme of the MAGA party is to always blame someone else for their own failings. 🧑‍🦯

Nah, just pointing out the fact that we're fighting back stabbing scum, while we continue to take over the party. ;)

Ya right. When the rules get changed aka moving the goal posts it's no wonder the kicker misses.

The voters of Alaska put rank choice voting in place in 2020? Two years seems like a pretty fair amount of time for the kicker to attempt to understand the rules the voters freely chose to put into place? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Almost all people & especially politicians blame others for their own failings.

On the flip, interesting how your dementia ridden lying President, who is the puppet leader of “your” party along with the bought & paid for Democrate media, has stated over & over the President has no control over gas prices soaring to record highs in the last 2 years. Now, gas prices drop 75 cents & dementia Joe is boasting full ownership & responsibility for making the drop happen. CMON MAN your being deceived & still paying more than double at the pump🤓

Stick with the facts, how has the Democrate party made our lives better in the past 2 years?

No votes for Nick? He didn’t vote for himself? No votes from friends and family?
🤷‍♂️

Republican Nick Begich III came in third in the election, so voters who had put him as their first choice (or who had written in another candidate) had their ballots reallocated to the candidate who was their second choice.

Government rarely makes one’s lives better whether it be R, M or D. Government is the problem not the solution.

The problem is people are generally against bigger government, unless of course it is their government and then it is the best government ever. That explains the support in here for the largest growth in the role of government in our lives and government spending in 3 decades prior to Covid under the last administration.

If anyone wants to know who's pushing this RCV stuff https://campaignlegal.org/democracy...8FcAc3UX73omCZDdaqq0wj3UD1V78w1hoCKS4QAvD_BwE

It's those that will benefit from it. With a RINO at the helm.

No different than the BS going on at the border etc.

straw man alert.

"generally" being the key word.

Your comment is hereby declared useless, generally speaking.

Exactly!!!! Blaming past parties for expanding government control when, the Dems shut down the whole country with their strangling COVID restriction BS. How about the so called “great reset” which has been spearheaded by the Democrat party & their leaders in the past 2 years. There are so many other examples of the Democrat party suffocating the American people with their “huge” government expansion & control which has accelerated greatly in the last 2 years.

How anybody can debate or argue for the Democrat party is unbelievable. Once again, so many refuse to look at the current facts & blame others.

No doubt there are a certain amount of Democrats dressed up as Republicans, how many, who knows. American politics has got to be one of the greatest smoke & mirrors (Wizard of Oz) shows on earth.

i dont know that they are democrats hiding as repubs, as much as they just want the status quo to keep going...ie, feeding at the govt money trough to enrich themselves and the backers that got them into power..........how else can you quadruple your net worth in 2 years of congress like liz cheney? not even goldman sachs is that good with your money, and they have a revolving door in govt

IMO, stupid show, embarrassing to watch Palin. Guessing, Palin put herself in that position, for the media coverage, in an attempt to appeal to a certain market of voters, lol, I don’t think it worked.

In general, we know very little about these politicians we vote for. So much marketing & BS.

On Monday, polling showed Tshibaka is tied Murkowski. The poll took into account Alaska’s ranked-choice voting system. The poll suggests that Murkowski’s best chance of defeating Tshibaka is Democrat voters, who could vote for Murkowski as the ranked-choice system advances.

RINO's depending on Democrats..................................SHOCKING!!!!!

LMAO 70's show .gif
