I don’t know crap about SXS supply chains but the shop here in Kingman who has had my Arctic Cat 1000 since the day before thanksgiving says he’s having a hard time finding a fuel pump for it. Are these things hard to get or just this model? When I get it back I am selling it anyway but it seems weird.

Call AZ West in Havasu, see if they have any or what they tell you. They're an Artic Cat dealer.

I've been waiting on a trim pump update kit with rams and lines from Volvo for a SX-A drive since late October. It has to come from over seas and Volvo Penta of America only has 2 people nation wide processing the paperwork to bring items into the states. My pump has been stuck in TN for 3 weeks waiting on paperwork to go through customs. My customer is being cool but im starting to get pissed

What year? I’ve been waiting on one for my 2014 Wildcat since Nov as well! Lucky for me it’s just the sending unit so I can still use it but figured I should replace the pump as well since everything is out.

sounds way overdue for a shop visit!
This!!! I would verify your exact model but partzilla is showing it in stock ready to ship.

Is it the same shop that was busting donuts in it when you showed up? If it is, that should tell you everything Lol

Bamboozled? Reminds me of trying to get some gears from Mercury last summer. Mercury was closed for approximately 4 months last year do to the China Virus. Gear sets were impossible to find on anyone's shelves until Mercury went back into production...

$350 bucks for a fuel pump? What’s so special? I would see if you could cross reference it to something else. I needed to change the fuel pump on my Buell. Harley wanted $350. I cross referenced it to a Walbro,Mustang v6 model. $70 bucks at the local auto parts store. And an exact fit.

2014 Arctic Cat wildcat 1000 white.
So I double checked and it seems like that pump (0570-436) is used in not only US, but “international” 1000 models ranging from 2012-2019...... I know this is going to sound like a smart ass comment but I’m almost positive the white plastics have no bearing on the fitment

I’ve ordered parts (Yamaha) from Partzilla listed as in stock only to be told they were on back order from the manufacturer after paying. Always got updates and the parts but some were weeks out.

The standard wildcats came in certain colors, the X & Limited came in other colors only which have different pistons, tune, clutch and run on 91. The all black limited Xs came with Elka stage5 shocks. Not to be a smart ass and sounds like a pepboys question but most times the color does matter with certain parts when talking to someone who knows what they came with.

When it comes to performance parts, yes I absolutely agree with you. I wouldn’t expect you to put an ecm with a tune for a turbo on a non turbo. A fuel pump however, isn’t going to be in that category where it makes a difference
