Not to hijack IDK's thread but if anyone also knows of a good place for AMP Research steps for a 2016 Yukon Denali I'd be grateful. I'm unfortunately not getting any taller.

I have them on two trucks. I couldn’t find anyone to discount them. Kinda like Apple products, they cost what they cost. If you do find them online then for cheaper you’ll probably pay a bunch in shipping. It’s a big ass box. I got mine at Amazon surpsingly.

They may have Black Friday sales or things like that on their social media.

I've put them on quite a few of my vehicles and got a deal on a set last year but I can't get ahold of the guy

This is the places I had a set installed on my 07 F250. They gave me the beat price around and quick turnaround

I’m down, but Savant was like $200-$300 cheaper than anyone installed!

If anyone does business with TruckHero (parent company) you can get a sweetheart deal and Amp Research is in Tustin where you could pick them up

same price for a 19 ram 2500 up north at anyone's off-road, my understanding is the price for the steps are about the same no matter who you get them from its the installation cost that add more to the overall price. if someone is getting them for $900 ill take two sets right now.

I did the leg work last month looking for a So Cal Dealer and install. Lots of quotes between 1750-2200 installed, but my particular kit was on back order everywhere.

I ended up buying them on Amazon and installing myself.

I don’t think I’ll own another truck without them.

Had the dealer install them on my new 2500HD. I called amp and they said 2-3 month back order. Unless a 3rd party the dealer buys them has them in stock. 2 weeks after my truck arrived they called and said bring it back for install. I added them to price after negotiating the deal on truck and it was $1500 installed from them. My last set I picked up directly from them and installed at a friend's shop they were $1200 or so otd on his account .

Id think twice about AMP. I've had them on 5 trucks and the most recent set has been a nightmare.

I reached out to AMP as the controller went bad and drained my battery, which is a common problem ($200 out of pocket). I went through their process to get the controller replaced and can't even get a callback or a response. I've been driving with no steps for a month.

Seems like another life ago now but I used to do a lot of their prototyping. Met Horst Leither a few times, pretty interesting dude.. albeit kinda short and to the point when talking.

I did the prototyping on the plastic parts of the bed extender deal and some other stuff.

My best luck was going straight to them in City of Industry. To buy and my controller went bad as well

Lund just bought AMP. Good luck. Quality and tech help will suck imo.

Steps worked great until today. Drivers side stays down and passenger side doesn’t work at all.

This sucks but there's not really any options out there. I've had quite a few sets in the past also' I bought a set for my excursion last year and haven't had any problems yet (knock on wood)

I've made quite a few phone calls and the best price I've found is $1300. Tonneaucovered.com and no tax and free shipping everyone else was $1350-1400 + tax . I did find a guy on craigs list that was $1350 cash.

Lund bought AMP Research back in 2013, they were more recently acquired by Truck Hero. I ran their quality department for 11 years ending in 2016. I used to have a hookup there but many things have changed since then and I'm now in Idaho so can't help. I would just say that make sure you get the AMP steps, RBP are a knockoff made overseas, Bestop is as well.

Same thing mine did. You need a new controller. I'd take the fuse out ASAP or it will drain your battery.

My friends wife broke her wrist when she went to hop out his lifted truck, put her foot out to step on the powered step that is normally there, but this time it didn't come out and she fell to the ground on her wrist.

Got mine from Savant Autoworks installed for $1600 out the door on my 2020 f350. My cousin had a set shipped out to the east coast from them as well for $1250 to his door.

We might know each other. I worked with the AMP team for over 3 years supplying them with many of their die cast components

Got one of these laying around ? Steps only 2 months old, the shop that I got them from finally got a call back yesterday after a month of no return calls. It will be 2-3 weeks before a new one is shipped

Had these installed last week. Savant did the job for $1600 out the door. They had great customer service and I would recommend them.
