Even my happy place “ going to the river” is fucked due to Ingines being scared of Covid and having there restrictions at the hotel. Then all day from the maskholes, to the the vaccine nazi’s, illegals , BLM BS, Politicians, hatred for cops and then this whole hate whitey attitude. Every things irritating me.

Yes
And when it looked like a light at the end of the tunnel, not so fast....
Clients are driving me crazy, just because you want it today doesn't mean you can get it, 5 day lead time has turned into 5 months, in some cases.
So, everyone is angry.

I've pretty much spent my life angry and wound tight. Somewhere in the past few years, been a little more "calm". Probably for the better. The old me would have blown a gasket by now, been locked up at a minimum.

Now, I'll wait for things to go off, before I do.

Moving out of Kommiefornia helped me a TON mentally. I absolutely love living at Lake of the Ozarks full-time. I know, wait til winter. Whatever, I will get thru it. Good luck, find a way to be positive & move on.

I’m a Tapatalk guy, and hit the new topics. Seems like 75% of new posts are COVID, or politics, or other Debbie downer shit. I do my best to skip through, and hit the cool ones, but it seems like this crowd has a boner for all the hate and doom and gloom. Such a bummer

I can tell you one of best things I did for myself was ditch Facebook, Twitter and the main stream media. I am selective of the news I tune into and I only do that for a short time each day. I like to catch the weather, some sports and updates on world events, then the news is turned off and I go about my day. It got to the point of so much negativity and anger in the news and social media that I just cut it out. Not saying the world is all rainbows and sunshine now, but I definitely feel a lot less pissed off all the time. Just my .02 …..

This is the only social media I do.
No Facebook, Twitter, IG...nothing.
Wouldn’t even know how to sign up.
I literally have not watched one minute of news including FOX since November.
The only “news” I see is clips posted here and the P&G.

I realize that I am a PG regular, but overall I stay pretty calm in “real life”.
Having said that, yes, what is happening on all fronts today is nothing short of an attack on our Nation, imo.
I think it’s a big mistake to ignore it simply for peace of mind...but I also do not know the answer for correcting it. 200 years ago the people would have ended this shit right quick and in a hurry...but today we just want our day to day to be “normal” and let some one else take care of the issues.
This is why we will lose. The ones creating and promoting these things that the OP listed as the root of his anger are not resting. They are committed, and are not distracted.
Like I said, I don’t know the answer but I know ignoring it won’t make it go away.

Yep, I've got 16 years in as a paramedic and the past year it has gotten to the point I've thought about a career change. The entitlement thought process of the general population, constant berating or law enforcement, constant increase in liability, call volume through the roof, having to be masked up at all times on duty and mediocre pay, etc.

Years ago public service was a great job and it still is in many parts of the country, but in southern california it is no longer a career that I can say is worth it unless you can land a job with a large well funded fire department

She just yelled back your one of those people who think this is all fake LOL.

The more time spent reading the news or having to hear it when out and about (No TV news at my house), the more anger I have. Most of it is focused on people no longer thinking for themselves. The hatred towards free thinking conservatives is out of control.

While walking to the bank a couple of weeks ago I saw this new gray car (dark tinted windows) in the parking lot. This gray color is the latest and greatest that seems to be the new hot color. While looking at the car the guy inside puts down the window and asks what the f_ _ _ I was doing looking at his car? Seriously I said, I was just admiring your new car and that gray looks great on it is there a problem with that??? I walked away shaking my head thinking why are people so frickin angry???

when illegals have more rights then voting citizens we got issues.
read an article, delta is spreading in CA, AZ, TX, and the south east. Anyone want to review the government bus program for illegals. Guess we’re 80% of illegals are being bused to (the southeast)! space cadet closed the Canada border, but the southern one is wide open and delta just walks across the border, then get more free shit then voting citizens

The train wreck has happened, we are now knee deep in the New world order, the only thing you can do now as individual's is to hope you make the right decisions, let's face the fact's there is nothing we can do, we are all to busy chasing the almighty dollar to even try to take a stand.

Pops would got mad at the Coastal marine layer when he couldn't hang the laundry out to dry. We'd hang it up in the garage.
About the only time he'd be pissed.

He and his Korean War Vet buddies I met were a pretty happy bunch. Looking back,, Not hard to figure out why.

Dad always said, "Don't get mad, get even..."
Glad he doesn't have to be here to see the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on the American people.

Kind of a long post but think about it….

Is America on a path of permanent decline?

Don Feder, June 17, 2021

Men, like nations, think they’re eternal. What man in his 20s or 30s doesn’t believe, at least subconsciously, that he’ll live forever?

In the springtime of youth, an endless summer beckons. As you pass 70, it’s harder to hide from reality.

Nations too have seasons. Imagine a Roman of the second century contemplating an empire that stretched from Britain to the Near East, thinking: This will endure forever.

Forever was about 500 years, give or take.

France was the thing in the 17th and 18th centuries. Now the land of Charles Martel is on its way to becoming part of the Muslim ummah.

In the 19th and early 20th centuries, the sun never set on the British empire. Now Albion exists in a perpetual twilight. Its 95-year-old sovereign is a fitting symbol for a nation in terminal decline.

In the 1980s, Japan seemed poised to buy the world. Business schools taught Japanese management techniques. Today, its birth rate is so low and its population is aging so rapidly, that an industry has sprung up to remove the remains of elderly Japanese who die alone.

I was born in 1948, almost at the midpoint of the 20th century — the American century. America’s prestige and influence were never greater. Thanks to the Greatest Generation, we won a World War fought over most of Europe, Asia and the Pacific. We reduced Germany to rubble and put the rising sun to bed.

It set the stage for almost half a century of unprecedented prosperity. We stopped the spread of communism in Europe and Asia, and fought international terrorism. We rebuilt our enemies and lavished foreign aid on much of the world.

We built skyscrapers and rockets to the moon. We conquered Polio and COVID. We explored the mysteries of the Universe and the wonders of DNA, the blueprint of life.

But where is the glory that once was Rome?

America has moved from a relatively free economy to socialism — which has worked so well nowhere in the world. We’ve gone from a republican government guided by a constitution to a regime of revolving elites. We have less freedom with each passing year.

Like a signpost to the coming reign of terror, the cancel culture is everywhere. We’ve traded the American Revolution for the Cultural Revolution.

The poor fellow in the White House is an empty vessel filled by his handlers. At the G-7 Summit, we all saw Dr. Jill had to lead him like a child.

In 1961, when we were young and vigorous, our leader was too. Now a feeble nation is technically led by the oldest man to ever serve in the presidency.

We can’t defend our borders, our history (including monuments to past greatness) or our streets. Our cities have become anarchist playgrounds.

We are a nation of dependents, mendicants, and misplaced charity. Homeless veterans camp in the streets while illegal aliens are put up in hotels.

The president of the United States can’t even quote the beginning of the Declaration of Independence correctly. Ivy League graduates routinely fail history tests that 5th graders could pass a generation ago.

Crime rates soar and we blame the Second Amendment and slash police budgets.

Our culture is certifiably insane. We have men who marry men. Men who think they’re women. People who fight racism by seeking to convince members of one race that they’re inherently evil, and others that they are perpetual victims. A psychiatrist lecturing at Yale said she fantasizes about “unloading a revolver into the head of any white person.”

We slaughter the unborn in the name of freedom, while our birth rate dips lower year by year.

Our national debt is so high that we can no longer even pretend that we will repay it one day. It’s a $28-trillion monument to our improvidence and refusal to confront reality.

Our “entertainment” is sadistic, nihilistic and as enduring as a candy bar wrapper thrown in the trash. Our music is noise that spans the spectrum from annoying to repulsive.

Patriotism is called insurrection, treason celebrated, and perversion sanctified.

A man in blue gets less respect than a man in a dress.

We’re asking soldiers to fight for a nation our leaders no longer believe in.

How do nations slip from greatness to obscurity?
Fighting endless wars they can’t or won’t win
Accumulating massive debt far beyond their ability to repay
Refusing to guard their borders, allowing the nation to be inundated by an alien horde
Surrendering control of their cities to mob rule
Allowing indoctrination of the young
Moving from a republican form of government to an oligarchy
Losing national identity
Indulging indolence
Abandoning faith and family — the bulwarks social order.

In America, every one of these symptoms is pronounced, indicating an advanced stage of the disease.

Even if the cause seems hopeless, do we not have an obligation to those who sacrificed so much to give us what we had?

I’m surrounded by ghosts urging me on: the Union soldiers who held Cemetery Ridge at Gettysburg, the battered bastards of Bastogne, those who served in the cold hell of Korea, the guys who went to the jungles of Southeast Asia and came home to be reviled or neglected.

This is the nation that took in my immigrant grandparents, whose uniform my father and most of my uncles wore in the Second World War. I don’t want to imagine a world without America, even though it becomes increasingly likely.

During Britain’s darkest hour, when its professional army was trapped at Dunkirk and a German invasion seemed imminent, Churchill reminded his countrymen, “Nations that go down fighting rise again, and those that surrender tamely are finished.”

The same might be said of causes. If we let America slip through our fingers, if we lose without a fight, what will posterity say of us?

While the prognosis is far from good, only God knows if America’s day in the sun is over

Reminded me of my Dad, Korean War Vet, worked 42 years with the Southern Pacific Railroad. Used to get pissed if the North wind started blowing before sunrise on his fishing days on the Delta. Always said…..the fishing is terrible when the North wind blows, lol.

Pop’s generation didn’t screw around or put up with a lot of BS. For example, Grads post #12 & post #27 would of been considered inflammatory BS…..quite possibly resulting in an ass whooping, bloody nose, or sore jaw.

That‘s the way men of his generation dealt with problems, issues, & certain people.

Everyone is angry.
We are watching our country being destroyed.
We feel helpless and therefore angry.
50% of people think this ... and 50% think that ...
This much tension causes anger.
Everyone has learned they cant trust the government ... cant trust 90% of the news ... cant trust the FBI , can’t trust the NSA can’t trust the CDC ... most government entities reputations are in the toilet .
Everything we are being told has a political agenda.
We used to be a country of “Law and Order” .
Everyone is angry because 50% of America made a voting mistake ... now everyone has to pay.

It's far too easy to fall into a "woe is me" trap these days. Is life perfect? Hell no. But we can't let ourselves fall into the same self pity and craziness that plagued the lefties during trump. Unplug from it all, focus on your family, focus on the massive amount of opportunity for success that is in this country today, focus about the wonderful technological advancements of the last 20 years to make our lives easier, improve on medical science, increase our earning potential etc.

Just curious what you think caused the recession in 2008, I'll wait.
Executive orders signed by governors that determined what an essential business was?
Mandatory closures for those deemed not essential?
Mask Mandates?
Social distancing that limited occupancy?
Excessive EDD payouts that promoted unemployment?

What do i win?

Want to make him really mad? Tell him AAPL stock gained more during Trump's 4 year term than Obama and Obama Jr's 8 year and 6 month term. 😂

There is a difference from my vantage point.
I have zero self pity or woe is ME.
What I am concerned about is the destruction of our republic, which is well under way.

As JFK. a dem, said in the year1961 (the year I was born)
“Ask not what what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country!”

Ignoring it to focus on ones own personal existence and benefits is why we are losing this Nation.
It’s not how we became a constitutional Republic, and it’s not how we’ve remained one for centuries.
It IS, however, why we are in the depths of destruction that we are.
Back before the war of independence most of the population did not want to fight Britain. It was insanity. We have benefited because a group of crazy bastards said fuck it and waged war.
That’s the one and only reason we are the USA.
Me...old and whatever...I will NOT ignore it.
