Our annual Easter at Jerry’s weekend has officially started! Wife and i just got here. The rest of the crew had to work so will be in later. It’s usually the kickoff to the season for us and always a favorite. (Tough to beat water front with a dock). Thanks as usual @Bigbore500r we’ll take care of your stuff :)

We started boating that Needles area back when there wasn't a single home across from Jerry's, how things have changed...

Yeah, it’s definitely blown up and not slowing down. Would have been a hell of an investment 20years ago.

Looks like my Neighbor is up, he has the conquest deck. Please tell him I said hi! Haven’t seen him in forever

Yep, really nice guy. Think he’s up with his boys. They’ve got a decent size crew hanging out.
I’ll tell him you said hi when we get back.

Last night at BB’s. Couldn’t ask for better weather and a better place to hang out

Quick stop by sand bar. Pretty slow and pretty cold water.

Linner at Topock. Tri Tip portions seemed to be back to normal. Draft beer was cold enough.

With a moon like that a late night float thru the gorge would be awesome!

Happy Easter!

Your trip looks awesome!

Looks like a great weekend!
Seeing those late night dock pics is making me want a place in needles all of a sudden.

It really is tough to beat. The ease of jumping on and off the water is bad ass. I could sit there all day and night and watch boats of all sizes/types go by. I like Havasu’s night life options but being on the water evens a lot of things out.

Finished out the trip with a trip to Pirates. The other 2 families bailed and I was leaning towards getting home. My kids pushed for another day so off we went.

My son getting his seat time. He’s pretty damn good at reading the river and anticipating traffic adjustments. My daughter is still the boss when it comes to putting it on the trailer or in a dock. Turns out patience and humility is a good thing.

Didn’t make it in time for breakfast but I’d rather do lunch anyway. (FYI- go with first instincts and skip the fish n chips).

Got busier later in the day. Played a little beach bocce ball and cracked a couple cold ones. The Nordic 35SS and a M31 park next to us. Damn beautiful boats.

Thanks again @Bigbore500r. Can’t wait until next year.

That blue boat is my dads old ‘75 Spectra 18. We had it redone by Advantage Boats decades ago when Harry was still in Anaheim. It’s so cool to see it’s still on the water & looking great after all of these years.

How long does it take to get from Jerry’s pad to the London Bridge by boat? Do you have to worry about water levels in those sections with a big twin engine deck?

The house is a 10 miles / 10-15 minutes up river past pirates cove. We are before the Needles bridge, no depth issues at all.

I always wanted to rent your house Jerry but can never find any friends willing to split the costs. May just have to pull the trigger once and treat myself.

That’s pretty cool to see an old boat. My ski boat went to New Zealand and the magic is in Yuma i think. Would love to see it on the water.

It’s roughly an hour down to London Bridge and a little more back. (No wake up river takes some time). I drive pretty damn slow though. Usually not in a hurry and as everyone says “the only person that’s happy to go fast in a deck boat is the driver”. I’m sure Bully makes up that ground in a hurry.
We’ve been boating in the area for quite awhile. The only issues with shallow water are above the bridge and one area that peaks out mid-way. Even when the water is low it’s fine.

Yea it's good for groups, you effectively have 5 "master" bedrooms with their own bath, and then a 6th 1/2 bath downstairs for guest use. Let me know!

Yep, great location and pad with space for everyone. I love that stretch of the river!
