I'm going to replace my anodes with aluminum (i dip in salt from time to time to cruiser the harbor) and I'm curious if there is any difference between the anode that goes on the rear of the cav plate... i see one thats just flat, and then i see one that has a little "fin" on it. Any difference? Is it just a prop clearing issue?

There's also a 3rd on that has the fin set further back.

Supposedly you are able to adjust the fin's position to counter act the torque from the prop, in order to help the boat track straight.

IMO just run a Flat.

The fin is usually used if you don't have power steering.
