Bones, what’s the story with the 2nd gen Camaro on the rack? Your car or customers?

So my worker is working on a 55 f100. Pretty aborted mess. Doing the window rubbers and seals. It is missing a lower window guide. No one has one and I am not one to wait. Whipped this up in about 15 minutes and he can carry on with the job.

So not something I normally do but an oil change on a copperhead viper. A lady owns it and took it to a oil change place a few years ago and needless to say it wasn’t a good experience. They left the oil filter gasket on it and needless to say it blew out going down the freeway. Luckily she had enough brains to pull over when she saw the smoke show. We took care of it for her then and she comes here for her oil changes now

I don’t know what’s going on. Another one back on the hook after he tried to avoid a Tesla that pulled out in front of him. We re did all the mechanicals on this car last year. Guy bought it at an auction and it was a polished turd. I had another Camaro sitting here we did and he said make it like that one. 525 Hp ls3 t56 chassis works suspension front and rear big Wilwoods. Everything but the paint and interior. Then it came back 6 months later and we did a Whipple 2.9 on it. And this not 6 months later. He built the car for his 18 yo kid so we knew this was coming.

So I got another one of those phone calls. 1986 S15 Jimmy. 33k original miles. Been in a garage for 30years. Engine blew up and they parked it. Thing is pretty cherry actually. Might have to put it together and have little Jimmy to go with the big one.

That’s cool af. My cousins and I bombed all over south Florida in one of those. V-6 automatic but still a ton of fun.

I had a 1986 S10 blazer 5 speed 4x4, it had the 2.8 motor that couldn't pull the nuts off a hummingbird, then they came out with the Vortec 4.0. I must have put 300k miles on it, many of those miles towing my Jet boat to Blythe. Just looking at that dash brought back a ton of memories. What motor is in it?

Always wanted to find a nice S15 and drop an LS into it, I had mad fun in one as a youth that I used to thrash pretty hard, shit it would go places some of my buddies "little dick" trucks would not go! Little 4.3 was pretty stout!

Around that time we all kinda figured out it's a lot to do with who's driving...haha 😆

Can't wait to see what happens to this one. 🤘

Nice little ride.

I rebuilt the V-6 in one of those years ago. Those engines had a common problem I don't remember, I think it was a head gasket issue.

Late Friday this showed up. It is a roadster shop chassis for a scout we are building. This thing is pretty trick. Pulled it out of the crate and put some rollers on it and set the engine in for mock up.

Is it based off their Bronco chassis?

I’ve worked with them on a few projects.

Update today. Got the 40 Ford running today. Still a little more to go but it’s alive.
Is that a Lincoln steering wheel? At first I thought Crestliner, but I think the spokes are different?

I don't know. It was on there when it came in. And he had to have that and the column. That was fun to do.
I had a guy 20 years ago that wanted a full size 40 deluxe wheel on an ididit column...they didn't repop 40's for Chev's yet. Welding, machining...fuckery was to be had, spline to keyway adaptor 😂

He didn't die, so must have worked!

Oddly enough, this first RS Bronco chassis was just feet from your awesome Galaxy
Always wondered how the vehicle is registered after the chassis swapped? Can't use original VIN anymore, wouldn't pass VIN verification through CHP... is it just a 2022 Custom?
