So here is another Desert Storm Pool Build, if anyone is interested. Brian sprayed out the outline of the pool on April 27th and started digging on April 28th. Here is my backyard and the progress so far. We live on the golf course, next to a vacant lot, so I think my house is a pool builders dream for ease of access.

April 28th, started to dig and two hours in they hit super hard rock/dirt and had to go get a hydraulic jack hammer.

Good luck with your build, looks like an awesome spot. I talked to the pool builder we used in Havasu yesterday and they said there booking are triple the normal pace for this time of year. I guess everyone has the same idea to add some at home luxury during these times.

Brian from Desert Storm said the same thing, lots of California people moving here full-time and wanting pools.

Looks like a great design. Were thinking of a similar design for our place. Were the exact opposite with access though so once we get that squared away hope to get a build started.

Congrats. We’ve got a couple builders coming out Friday for quotes. Desert storm was top of my list but they’re booked all week. Maybe I can get them to come by sometime and do it over the phone.

65 is a great price this days. I’ve had friends in socal get quoted 95 for less just based on how much work they already have

What are your overall dimensions? Length and width? I think I will have about a 30X30 section to work with this winter but I'm having a hard time visualizing it.

agree, my neighbor who’s getting a pool is at 65k with pretty much a square pool and a spa. Approx 35’x18’. Nothing fancy. Will see how long it takes too, holes dug and rebar is in. Took less than 8hrs to dig and 5hrs to rebar.

The pool is basically 15'x30'.

Johnson Manly started on the outdoor kitchen, these guys don't mess around, in three days they've dug trenches/holes, plumbed both water and sewer and poured the footings.

Looks nice.

We met with Brian a couple weeks ago after seeing your build. Very happy with his conceptual drawing and price.
