So I spun this hub last summer, didn’t bother with it just bought a new prop with hub. I had a prop repair guy tell me the prop is a 28p but I found 27 in tiny stamp markings on it, so that leads to a different question. The prop is 14.5” diameter, measuring outer edge to center x2. It was on my Bravo One when I bought the boat, there is absolutely no other identifying markings on the prop or hub. I seek help identifying the hub so I can purchase a replacement hub.

Any prop should be able to press a new hub into it. Reminds me of an old Mach Sterndriver prop

What I learned is that it is probably a custom Hill Prop. The company I used to repair and identify did the repair and I have since ran the prop. I am still learning the characteristics of the prop. i don’t know where you are located but there are many shops that are knowledgeable in prop. In my case I used Skips in a Havasu, they have been Very helpful. Though you may find another shop, Skips was convenient for me.

Righteous yeah I'm in Prescott, AZ. I will look up skips. Yeah my 4 blade is just like yours nice and clean with a stamped 25 with a pressed hub. I have a 3 blade mirage no hub and I need a hub adapter with splines. Thanks for the heads up.

So what I’ve seen is they will fill or grind the stamp of the stock prop, then use a hand punch to stamp the new numbers in it. Above 23 seems the most common is even numbers only but can be labbed to smaller.

The one you posted looks like a Mercury Mach or a Hill Signature Most likely started life as a 28p
