I just fired her up over the weekend. New Battery. New Tires on Trailer. New Water Impellor. Tightened Steering Cables. Cleaned and Waxed her up really good.

I have 2,600+ hours on my fishing boat and want to pick up a newer Yamaha F300 Outboard. If anyone has a F300 25" Mid with low hours, I'd be happy to trade. Otherwise, the cost is $12,500

It's so awesome seeing this thread! This was my dad's boat. In reading the comments, I do remember it was a circle boat when he first got it, and it had the checkerboard then. I'd love to see some current pics if whoever has it now is on this thread.

Landed this 20SS last night. I really miss my old 20SS that I re-built. Big Project, but going to race this Mudda Fucka in GN, Water Ski, & Enduro!

The previous owner was a good dude that sold me the new polished stainless rub rail too! Has most of the rigging that I will need to go though.

I was planning on just getting this sucker back together and finding a motor to throw in to do the Enduro.

After a quick look through yesterday, there are a few spots in the subfloor that are a little soft.

I got my glass guy coming down to my shop Tuesday to look over the boat.

I'd like to just remove the subfloor and hope that the other side of the stringers look good. If the stringers are good, clean up the glass and shoot a coat of black gel to clean everything on the inside up. Then fill a few minor hulls and buff the outside of the hull to clean her up.

One issue is that she has hydraulic plates. Not really what you want in a race boat. I'll test the equipment and see how fast the work.

The boat was sitting in Texas. The previous owner brought her back to SoCal and it Sat in his driveway. He ended up finding a Howard from up North and is getting that completed to run around this summer. The 20SS was a little more of a project than he wanted. A lot of the rigging is there, but it needs much love. He gave me 2 side tanks, but they are only 17 gallons each. I might need to sell those are try and find some 25+ gallons tanks

So those are my ideas, but in the end I will probably gut and re-rig the whole F'n thing
