Any brewery peeps here?

Long story short...
My friends kid, good kid, worked at Hanger 24 for eight years and got laid off as a senior brewer.
Hanger 24 subbed out their three most popular flavors because they couldn't meet production and ultimately decreased their workforce.
Looking for any tips to get a foot in and/or hired at a brewery.
He started at the bottom and worked his way up to senior brewer so he has experience with packaging, cellaring, brewing maintenance, and brewing.

Bummer all around. Wild why Hanger didnt source more fermenters and up the brewing schedule.

Not sure if he want's to move, but Albuquerque NM is a hot bed for breweries. They are everywhere. The community college even has a master brewers program.

Millers would be an ideal place to try and get in as (unless things have changed) they tend to offer pretty nice retirement benefits, etc. etc.....My father retired there after close to 30 years being there all while living in Riverside....Plus Paps Blue Ribbon in LA before that too.

I was gonna say I know a couple people there. Just met the Head Brewmaster last week after repairing their hop cooler.

Plus, I may know a nice 2 bedroom 2 bath house in Heritage going up for sale in the next few months possibly. Lol!

My FIL retired from AB.
I got quite the tour of their facility when he took me for Family Day. Hopping ropes and closed off areas, with all you can drink free beer... Good times!
