This is exactly my business strategy. In addition to this strategy, I love to pour tens of thousands down the drain on that same boat that I bought for 23k, that’s worth 5k, and in the end sell the same boat for 3k.

As luck would have it I still have a NOS Thunderbolt gas pedal. So I call up the dealer and said from the pics in the ad it doesn't look like there's one in this boat, and because it appears this model is much more rare and valuable than most 46 year old squirt boats this might be the perfect item needed to close a sale. Said he could have it for $1500 and I'd pay for shipping.

Anxiously awaiting for their reply.
