Woke up this morning and watched a video of a guys toy hauler burning down in front of the beach store! Looks like he managed to unhook the truck and save it!

Shit we almost look like we know what we are doing!
Nice, I’ll go find you tomorrow for a cold one 🍻. We are in Wash 13 this trip. About 7-8 RV’s Saturday to Saturday. I had to come back home to have dinner with the in laws and heading back out tonight... yup I ghost camped for 2 days but the rest of the camp was there so 🤷🏻‍♂️.

You can gladly join us on a ride, there are a few of us that lead who have been doing so for decades and make it easy on new riders.

I’m itching to hit the road back to Havasu.. lol. This place is crazy crowded.

Daniel found a set of paddles and put them on his quad.

They basically already did. I follow you on instragram if you look at mine you’ll notice I don’t really post my family going anywhere. There’s more pictures here. Pretty shitty but I won’t be posting any family thanksgiving or Christmas parties either. I don’t want to hear the bullshit. Those two that went for the bosses sick. I guess that’s why now it’s a big deal. I don’t agree with a lot of things but right now I just do what I have to for my family. It’s honestly why I completely changed gears and I’m going to be the welding instructor. I wanted to make a run at coordinator and director. Maybe end up at the ITC. Now I don’t really want any of that. I just want to be in the welding shop left alone. Way in the back by myself.

Don't know ya but I like ya. You have worked hard for where you are. Don't let other fuckery get in the way of where you want to go. Get to a level you want and then find a company hiring for that spot. Best of luck to you.

Duning is an art, I am ok, but there is one guy in our group that is the master, even into the setting sun he can haul ass. We get in to a flow in the bigger dunes and hit speeds into the 80's and he can just string them all together effortlessly. I have done it, but its pretty stressful, ie taking a half dozen friends into a witch eye with you if you mess up.

My uncle is the dune whisperer. Stay on his line and ride for hours. Get cocky and either pour jack on it and butterfly it or drive yourself to brawly.

I went with option 2.

I'd love to see the video. I've had guys ride through our camp out in the desert before and they almost got an ass beating and there weren't even kids around.

My Dad and I. I Wasn’t surprised that he Packed up and left today. Didn’t enjoy it in the Jeep taking sand highway and it is packed. None the less, I enjoyed being with my family camping. Truly thankful. [emoji846]

About one second later the BLM jeep that was chasing him cut him off, and the guy left a permanent imprint in the Jeep's door. Officer jumped out and had him on the ground, then video ends.

Tell willams buddy no glass in the dunes.👎

Igotta be honest I went to like 20 different camps and everyone had modelos and Coronas? I can’t see why glass wouldn’t be allowed in sand? Other than maybe a roll cage I didn’t see anything you would break it on?

Those kinda people don’t give a fuck.

Noah is one of the nicest guys I know? What does that mean?

I have no problem with responsible people taking bottled beers i do myself for camp and sometimes a ride no biggie to put empty back into cooler

Its the ones who decide to take a bottle beer on a ride then dont want to take it back becasue of fear or breaking its the ones lazy to take to the trash and instead toss in fire,or the ones who just leave them around camp that later get broken by accident cause it didnt go into trash immediatly after drinking who are the jack asses and why there is a no glass rule.

This. When you or your kid get cut by glass because you didn’t see it buried. You realize why the rule is there. They make all the shit in cans too.
I have no problem with people who are responsible but very few exist.

Done it for years never broke one bottle wont take 2 on a ride since two empties can possibly break in cooler. But camped in gecko before broken glass is all you see.Why i usually camp where i do its fresh sand but have had friends of friends come and bring lumber with nails told not to burn they did after i went to bed i spent the morning picking their shit up told them they are not welcome back.Oh same goes for sobe bombs look cool but again no one picks up the broken glass.

got me a full bottle sized coozie that helps too

That and we drag a magnet through the sand before setting up camp, mind blowing how many nails you will find.

a melted beer can will slice a kid too.. lol. I’m not sure I’m seeing the difference here? Either you are a responsible person or you aren’t..

I’m pretty irresponsible when it comes to being loud and obnoxious, but responsible making sure nobody gets hurt or nothing gets damaged etc

I’m going to second this. I went for a ride with Noah and he did not have bottles out in the dunes.

Most respectful guy and probably the nicest guy to camp with, or just to be friends with in general . He’s been going to Glamis for 30+ years. He knows the ropes when it comes to Camp Etiquette. Our entire camp did for that matter.

One of my best Glamis stories is we pulled into camp in wash 10 very late at night. No one still up so we quietly set up and went to bed. First one up so I started the coffee and went out and got the fire started. Sitting there in my chair with my coffee people started coming out of their trailers/motorhomes and sat down and started visiting. I did not know any of them! I had pulled into the camp next to our friends. Long story short, we stayed camped where we were and for the 10 following years our group and that group became friends and we always camped together from that time on. Great friends and great times and great memories.

My little guy did great on his first RZR ride as the wife cruised pretty slow. I held his helmet still on any whoops we hit on the way to Vendors Row. Yes my daughter had a helmet too. If you have “parenting advice”. Keep it to yourself.

No advice, but we used a neck collar for our nephew when he was younger it kept his helmet more stable. Will probably go that same route when mine is old enough.

Wilkey was in the camp right next ours in 6, looked like they ended up with 2-3 layers of trailers.

I didn't take many pictures, but I did get the helicopter coming in to airlift someone out friday Not sure what happened, we saw them working on someone as we drove in.

Grant passed out in the truck on the way back from olds on Friday!

We had a great time. My oldest burned through a TON of gas on his new TRX 90 at the kiddie track next to camp. [emoji106]. Glad this bike wasn’t a waste of money. Lol

Great group of people to hang with and it’s always fun to catch up with Dave and Stacy. Our kids get along great together and keep each other occupied 90% of the time. Which gives us parents a breather.

The mayhem is still there like it was 10 years ago and any other big weekend you can think of.

After some thought on the way home I came to the conclusion that holiday weekends in Glamis don’t flow well for me and my family. I Need a calmer atmosphere when I’m there with them.

We left at 8AM to and we were home by 1. Missed the bumper to bumper thanksgiving traffic.

Looking forward to more trips on off weekends for sure!

These people that were camped next to us had a 185s and a 110 Honda ATC on nobbies.. as I was talking to them packing up I asked, “how are these things doing out here? Are you having fun?” He replied, “we are having a great time, my older kids took them to olds last night!” LMAO. I couldn’t believe it! I have pulled many night rides in Glamis on an 85’ water cooled tricked out wheeler... but never in a million years would I think about taking a no suspension pull start ATC to olds, let alone at night.

Good for them! [emoji41][emoji106]
