So I came across a Boat brand/hull that I can’t seem to find any info or history on. There my be an opportunity to get at a decent price is why I’m looking into it. States it’s a 2007 23’ Extreme Custom Boats with, get this, 27.6 hours on the hour meter. I have every intention to have a mechanic buddy come to scan the computer to see if that reads the same. Modified Tunnel (I assume is the right term) reminds me of my Stoker 224 bottom or maybe a Cheetah Stiletto. I have googled my fingers off and finally decided to ask here.

The only thing I have found similar is this 2003 Ultra Barracuda tunnel but is a 21’. Literally same exact lines down to the grooves on the nose to the windshield indents (even though it doesn’t have it).

Now I haven’t seen this blue boat in person which I will tomorrow, hopefully with a scanner, but when I got the picture I automatically assumed a 21’. Had a LEO buddy run the CF# and it’s registered as a 23’. Also found out that it’s last registration year was 2011. So MAYBE the hours are right huge MAYBE.

Sold my Stoker last year (wife reminds me of this mistake everyday now that it’s hot) and been looking to buy a 26’ Cat just haven’t found what we want for the price we want just yet. Thinking if the price is right, I can use this for the mean time until we build or find the long term boat.

More than likely it’s the same hull, Ultra just didn’t include the swim step in the length of the boat

That would make sense. Just odd to not find any history of this “Extreme” builder even though I think I’ve seen the name on boats before.

Looks like a bastardized version of an Eliminator 234, and, the brothers Leach briefly had a company called Extreme, but they made a 22 V step bottom. They never did a tunnel.

Now that you mention it, and after some google search photos, it does look like the Edge 234 almost identical including deck lines down the center. Might be onto something... maybe a 1 time build for a known/returning customer of the Leach’s?!? I’m just noticing the rear of this “Extreme” is capped as well. I’m going to look at the HIN to see what the Lettering starts with. If I’m not mistaken, even my Stoker has ELB (or close to that) as the start of the HIN.

Either of these guys the Leach Brothers you mentioned? Found this on an Extreme FB and found the matching hull as well. Would be good to know where the roots come from if it’s them.

Negative.

The boats look similar to the 234, but is not the same. The 234 had a register for a wrap around plexi windshield that looks pretty close in style to modern Speedsters.

Edit..
Looking closer it does appear to be a splash of the 234 after all, lol

It was deceiving as one of them doesn’t have a windshield.
I don’t know if they’re still around, but Wayne/Earl made the screens for Eliminator back then.
If they’re still around they may have forms?

Nope but some other guy bought them out and is (?) in Santa Ana. Wayne/Earl were great but Finney's was the best. Damn they built nice stuff.

Which means, they probably have the forms for E, Carrera, Warlock, Advantage, Caliber1, early Ultra, etc..
