We were out in Parker for Memorial day weekend, and I decided on Friday night that I needed a gas cart. I looked them up on Craigslist and texted this guy, and for once it was a legit ad.

We rolled over to his place above the Keys on Saturday morning, and he had six carts available. Five of them were E-Z-Go gas carts, and one was a nicer Yamaha cart. Obviously I grabbed the Yamaha, but he had a good selection of stock carts left for a good price.

I think he's a FedEx driver that does this on the side, he gets them from the Palm Springs area and puts a little elbow grease into them, then flips them. He even let me borrow his flatbed trailer to bring the cart back to Riverland, completely trusting that I would return it back to him (I did, with a $50 cash tip).

Super cool guy, and once he offered to let me use his trailer I wasn't going to beat him up on the price. I paid 3500, the other Ez Go carts he was asking 2500.

No he was way above the keys up on the hill, and according to his text he has nothing left. Apparently golf carts are in high demand, who knew?
