I buy the COSTCO back ribs in the 3 pak and it hit almost $75 average.
Now about $35 average.
Used to be pre-Biden $28.

Gallon Zip Locs bags got up to $14 for a 80 pac.
Now under $8.

Impossible Hamburger was $8, now $5.
I know like cooking ground up Barbie dolls but the wife likes it.

Canned chopped clams was $6 now just under $4.

Damfino why but a Mobil station here is always $1 gallon less for diesel than average across town prices.
Diesel still holding $6.50 to $6.99.

Any takes?

I still see shortages on the shelves, and that’s not going to change for the next 2 years or more. There are not enough trained workers, and the outlook appears to getting worse.

I just paid $50k (out the door) for a 2022 Dodge Charger GT ( 6 cylinder version). I paid $27,500 for the wife’s 2018 Camaro (new). When I was shopping around it took me 5 months to find something, and I still didn’t get the adaptive cruise control option.🤨

I think we are past the gouging side of supply, and now settling in on new pricing schemes. If you didn’t raise your prices 30-50% in the last 3 years, you’re probably going out of business.

Some people have brought it up that prices seam to be easing.
Ya, that’s what they want you to think. So you feel happy your only getting punched in the face instead of a boot to the nuts.
Thought the plan was pretty obvious. But social media seems to think brandon is best thing since sliced white bread now.

2x4's are down to $4.85. Plywood still looks pricey.

I bought a burger and a salad at a local restaurant last night. $40. Seemed a bit crazy.

We went to the movies Friday and saw Bullet Train. We now go to early shows and tickets are "only" $8.00 at the local theater. The fancy theater with the big wide seats and cocktails is $17.50 a ticket.

Gas getting closer to $5.00 again.

All by design.

Dumbass liberals will vote blue in November thinking the current administration is "helping" them.

Not realizing the assholes raised everything 100 percent to get you 15 percent off.

Once again. Stupid is a disease that can't be cured.

Lumber has come down.

Vinyl flooring has as well. It was $1.59 a sq ft. Peaked at $3.99 6 months ago. Now $3.19.

Bought a pack of filet at Costco yesterday. $45 2 years ago would of been $30-35. Mediterranean salad $7 (Bomb) used to be $5. Toilet paper was $5 off but still $19.50.

Have not noticed any changes on the rest of building materials.

Was at Sam’s Club a couple of weeks ago to get a pack of baby backs and the price only seemed to be a couple of bucks higher than they were last time I bought them. Then I picked up the package and instead of 3 racks of ribs, there were only 2! WTF?

Prices are not what they used to be "BC". Constructions materials are still high, eating out is still high, and gas in Ca. doesn't count as a national average. we're always high due to the excise tax.

Side note-Anyone notice 20 LB bags of ice are now 16 lbs. of ice but still the same price as what 20 lbs used to be?

On Friday nights we like to go out for a quick easy dinner (talking RED Robbin) walk 2 laps around the mall and then head home.

we usually get
wings
split a burger
sometimes Wife wants the Wrap and I get a burger (so 2 meals)
ice tea
2 short beers

it’s a $60 + dollar meal and it lately it just sucks!
Asking multiple times for napkins, I ordered a burger w/ bacon an it came with 1 - 2inch strip of bacon, ordered a salad w/ blue cheese and Italian dressing - I got blue cheese and ranch. When they delivered my food I order a 2nd beer, I was done eating and they brought my 2nd beer.

wife says they can’t get good help!

We don’t eat out as often is the end result.
A toasted ham and cheese from home is WAY better than a crappy $60 + meal

Everthing has gone up! A Carne asada burro is like $10-12 bucks

Romaine Lettuce doubled in price, we go thru to 2 hearts a day for our turtles 🐢 and most of the time they are smaller than normal

How long can this last?
Paycheck to paycheck families have to be really hurting

My local vets are only 2 weeks out usually. But $750-1100. I paid $750 for both my Females. Got a referral to one vet that has fair pricing and they are 2 months out just for a check up that is required before.

My Moms dog needs his balls chopped. Took him to the dog park yesterday and he would not leave the females alone. Her vet said $900. Going to shop around this week.

^^^ THIS ^^^
It's all designed to get their Socialist Base to the polls in November to keep control of the House & Senate. Thinking things are going great because prices are going down, even though prices are actually 50% More than what they were in January, 2021. Who doesn't think the entire economy is on a collision course with a freight train? Recession and Inflation are both happening at the same time while the Socialists in Washington just passed a Partisan $750 Billion spending bill under the name of "The Inflation Reduction Act" while simultaneously increasing taxes on Small Business and the Working Class. You have to either want to Destroy America or yore an Economic Neanderthal, lol. (Hint - it's not the later)

Were on a economic fork in the road right now. There is only 2 choices the Fed can make to alleviate the situation and neither of them can correct both. They can either raise interests rates higher than what the inflation rate is to get inflation under control, but this kills the economy. Choice #2 is to do nothing and keep the economy running, but this results in Hyper Inflation. So as you can see we are quickly heading for a major ass kicking regardless.

The only hope would be for the Federal Government to cut spending and taxes much like Reagan did to solve Stagflation after Brandon 1.0 left office. The big problem America has is we have a President who has been compromised by taking money from the CCP and Ukranian Oligarchs in the White House instead of a Cowboy!

Idaho is continuing to rape its citizens at the pumps. As of today we are paying $4.79 for regular. We are generally $1.30-1.50 less than California. The gap has closed, even though Cali pays nearly a $1.50 more in taxes at the pump.

Yep. 7-11 still does 20 but it’s 6.99 per bag.

I’m covered now.

The vets rang the bell hard from C19, and although I don't wish bad luck on anyone .... I won't feel too badly for them when the pet business normalizes.

I'm not seeing prices drop in Canada. I'm seeing more shrink-flation. You know the trick manufactures give less product in a package and retailers charge the same for it.
a bag of ice is the easiest way to see that lol.

I did the same thing as @Done-it-again just waiting on it to show up..getting impatient over it.

I know in my industry we are seeing material cost increases continue. My jaw hit the floor essentially reading an email regarding a commercial grade product this morning.

super annoying to, 7LBs was just right for most small ice chests. 5Lb bag is not enough and 10 Lbs is too much lol.
I need 60lbs a day for the boat. 20lbs on each side cooler on the x-flight...they aren't insulated so the engine heat plus ambient burns through it. (I'm going to make a cardboard jig up and foam them at some point..I just have zero time or energy for it right now). I carry 20lbs in a cooler under the dash for "clean ice." It's not a ton of money but it adds up...
