Anyone have one for sale? Anything to look out for?

Boys are 7. They rides their dirt bikes but everyone we camp with has side by sides. They can only drive the bronco with dad in the car, so I’m trying to find something with a steering wheel and pedals to keep them entertained.

@NicPaus I looked as those and checked with two places. One was $8100 otd!

The other place wouldn’t talk to me over the phone. Needed to drive 90 miles to get a price 🙄

My buddy paid $7k otd few days ago. But hd said 4 of are other river neighbors were going to buy 1 also so not sure they have any left. I have seen a few at 6k lightly used.

I did a trade with the one I got. Friend paid 8400 otd but that was covid pricing. It's a much better machine than the 170. I will do a little searching on used and post up.

Quite a few on Craigslist just listed. If you go 170 I would get the fuel injected model.

Thanks for sharing those. Do you think the 200 is worth twice the price?
I have not looked over a 170 up close. I did a trade on the 200 only reason I got it. I have wrenched on it a lot and it's a nice unit. Just adding accessories and had to buy a new battery.

A 170 with all accessories for $4,k or so would probably be a better buy. I have spent at least a thousand on extras and got 250$ worth of extras for the recall on the 200. They gave $250 in voucher and $800 back for the stop ride it had. So it made my deal that much better.

That’s good info. Thank you.

My boys have grown out of theirs but my wife would cry if I sold them. She wants to save them for the grandkids. I merely mentioned her future daughter in laws may not let the kids come visit. LOL

View attachment 1455084 My boys are 5 & 7 and love it. This was just last night at home. They drive it all the time.

That car looks familiar👍🏻 glad to see it’s getting used. Thats the safest most reinforced race cage LTI made💪🏻. I should have built my daughters car the same way.

If you are going to mod the motor and suspension on a 170, then yes, your money is better spent getting a 200. Even with a bunch of $, the design of the 170s rear swing arm suspension limits the possibility and $1000.00 shocks only do so much. The 200’s rear trailing arms are way different, it’s really like a baby adult rzr. The 200 has upper and lower front arms were the 170 just has a lower arm and shock off the top of the spindle
If you do buy a 170 I would recommend only buying the fuel injected model, which I think started in 2015?

My problem is that I have the kind of kids that keep growing 🤷🏼‍♂️.
I’m hoping the market stays solid on these as I’ll have to sell our 200 at the end of this season. I paid a hefty adm during Covid when the 200 first came out and then dropped a bunch more modding it. My daughter has the option to move up to my son’s old 570rzr but likes her 200 better. She has almost 700 miles on that car🤘🏻. Can’t keep both.

Heck yeah it’s been a great car for the boys. It still looks brand new all cleaned up too. I love how safe it is. Definitely the safest 170 I have seen around. I needed a second one because they fight non stop over who’s driving and how do I choose to give the newer faster one to? I didn’t and decided to make it an even playing field and just get two 200’s 🤣My boys are huge so I’m sure they will be out of the 200’s in no time like your kids.

I’ll just leave these right here for when they’re ready👍🏻 No loud exhaust needed for the mod.

Yes on the 200. You can also set it on the dash. There is a geo fence as well so they can't ride out of the area you set it to.
Wow, that's awesome. Will it keep my 5 year old from hitting a parked motorhome or trailer 🤔

So you can limit the speed on these with an app?

Yes, but here’s the cool thing not mentioned above:
the rzr200 comes with these little things like an AirTag chip deal that stick to the kids helmets and you can put different restrictions on different kids. So one kid in the driver seat can only go 10 miles an hour, but the other could hop in and go 25 without the parents having to change anything.
Note: I never tried them or any of the safety controls because my kids already were driving a 170.

Yes, just set up the Geo fencing With the motorhome outside the radius😆
I didn't realize they had all that technology built into them. Thats really cool. His older cousin has one of the Chinese ones that they cruise around camp with. I just put rugged radios in his helmet so I can talk to him instead of trying to yell stop or whatever.

Kids love it!

I had to get a new battery due to that parasitic draw.

So I installed a battery disconnect and a battery tender. Lol 😂

Well that sucks because I think I had just bought that odyssey that what in it?? I can’t remember..

Anyhow that was a bad ass little car!

He'll remember that forever!
Yah especially because he ran out of skinny pedal going up a hill and I had to push him up / prevent him from rolling back with my rzr until I smoked my belt.

But when he made it to randsburg he said “I’m a driver now”!

We have a 200. The older girls and the wife love driving it around.
Something ya keep in the family for future generations.

We did the EVO flash and it runs better, smoother, starts way easier and has more power, acceleration and speed.
Ya don't want too much more speed, the brakes can only handle so much and the kids will start slamming into each other.
