Any good? Do they have the resort fees like hotels on the strip?

I stayed there at the end of last year. Must have been redone because our room was really nice. Would definitely stay there again. But yes they do have resort fees.

Could very well have been because our tower was definitely at the end of its lifespan.

Used to be a great place. Helluva seafood buffet....But that was many moons ago and I've heard it's fell off the A list.

And it ain't on the strip TB, you'll have to take cabs a few blocks;)

Get a room at The Signature towers by MGM. This hotel is bad ass.. walk out balconies, full kitchens, entertainment center. There is a resort fee almost everywhere you go. If you stay downtown stay at the Golden Nugget.

If you don't have a car it is easier to stay on the strip. Look into the tram that goes from one Casino to the next. Great way to see Vegas. Have fun

[SUP]I just stayed at the Rio in January. I thought my room was really great and the price was under $60 with no resort fees. The casino itself could probably use a remodel soon. The access to the Rio is the best part. It is off the strip, but so easy to get to and easy to get to the strip. I was driving back and forth between the Sands Expo and Rio and that will be my preferred place to stay. I'm a non-smoker....have been my whole life and suffer from allergies, and am usually pretty sensitive to how a room smells. Perhaps I got lucky and got the only good room in the place? The Rio has one of the best hotel-top bars too.

The last couple times I stayed at Treasure Island, the rooms had that old casino smell to them - but that was 10-15 years ago. I have a buddy that likes to stay there. But it tends to be $120+ a night.[/SUP]

Why do you little people insist on the small type? Pressing on...

There is a smoking deal on the Ti right now. $63 per night (half price). Once you add on the room fee and taxes, it comes out to right around $120 as you have indicated.

Maybe Steve has a room we could rent? :D

Not a fan of either Tom but if I had to choose stay at TI. Staying on the strip is a must, way more accessible to the happenings and judging by your shape you enjoy walking.:D

Nix that idea tom........For you or me, he'd find one in a haunted house where old whores died and their ghosts run around all night moaning about their yeast infections:yikes

I'm learning from YB. Posts seem much less offensive when using small text.

All the rooms are suites. If you get a bad room, tell them and they will make it right and you might even get a free dinner out of it Never had a bad room there. My mutt likes it too. (all Caesars properties will accept pets under 50#s) They have a nice dog area. I believe the 4th floor in the Masquarade Tower is for pets. They have one of the best free shows in the Masquarade tower at night. Rio is a Caesars property. There will be resort fees. I play cards enough to get comped room including resort and pet fees so I wouldn't have much to bitch about regardless.

As with any hotel casino, if you pay for the room up front and do any gambling, ALWAYS see a casino host BEFORE you check out. If you've gambled enough you will get room comped including resort fees or at a minimum, you will get a discount. Don't be afraid to ask and be polite. You will need to make sure you have a total rewards cards and ANY money you spend make sure you show your card. Even for newspaper or Starbucs.

We found a deal at the Hilton Grand Vacation Suites. Looks like a nice place. Just over $100 per night with parking and tax. No resort fees.

I just stayed there on 3/15. Our room was a dump. It looked like an 80's porn was filmed there. The bed was not comfortable at all and the floor looked like Rosie ODonnel had an orgy with a hamburger.

I have really enjoyed staying at mandelay bay.

I book the MB and at check in tip the person asking about upgrades. $20 in tips has always got me an upgrade suite in The Hotel.

That's where Ford always put us for SEMA it's a nice place you'll enjoy it. Have fun Tom.

Watch out for the card flicker on the street corners.

I stayed at the TI about two weeks ago. The rooms were very nice, they do have resort fees, but overall a nice hotel. We had friends stay at the Rio, it's a dump! Smells like old lady's and cigarettes.
