Has anyone used this adapter for converting a GA headset for use with a rugged/PCI radio? What's your experience? I use an aviation intercom/headsets, and would like to add on a radio using this with the GA intercom outputs.

Product:

Example of an aviation style intercom (if you're not familiar):

Do aviation headsets have noise cancelling mic? So it doesn’t pick up engine noise and wind.? Also using aviation headsets in dirt. They will never be 100% clean again

Yes, headsets and intercom and all set.

I should have been more specific... This is to hook up the intercom module to an ICOM or Kenwood dash mount radio. The adapter takes the GA two plug and converts it to the 5 pin you have on the back of the VHF radio. The adapter isn't exactly cheap, and wanted to see if anyone had used it before.
