Cool, I plan on trying a 5 Blade on my 24' Schiada with a 1000hp, hopefully next month when the motor/drive are completed.

The hydromotive P5-X looks like a solid unit. Typically as fast as a bravo in the threads Ive been reading with a better hole shot, less likelyhood of blowout across the board. It is what Im looking at doing

The P5-X is for bow lift
P5 is for transom lift

I run a Maximus on my 270. I like it better than a B1

I have a Maximus that I run on my 270 Hallett step , top end is slightly lower than the bravo 4 blade , but mid-range
is way better . I had to cut the defuser ring off , and cut down the diameter . After the second reduction in diameter . I'm
going to Havasu in 2 weeks to try it .
