It has a light-duty truck engine in it.... The truck is worthless. A F150 will tow more and run longer in a commercial capacity than this would.

Nice truck but I’ve been known to haul as many as three dirt bikes and I think that kind of load would be pretty unruly with anything less than an F-800.

The 6.7 may not be everyone's cup of tea, but the chassis (braking, steering and massive rear axle) will make it a whole different animal than your standard F350. I am not really into the 6.7's, having just recently done a charge cooler on a customer's ranch truck (turns out the stock ones may come apart with "modest" boost increases) Whoever buys this rig isn't doing it to haul an excavator or a dump trailer. It would haul most boats just fine, and stop them well too.
Beautiful truck though, I'd make room for it!

They often de-rate these engines when put into medium-duty truck chassis.
I bet the power will be unchanged, YMMV

Yep what H20 said. If older than 2010, you would have to change the motor to a 2010 or newer emissions engine. Terrible law.

Reading some Of these comments are amusing to say the least. We are in a market where nothing is available, and this is a nice 650 at a reasonable price that will happen to pull any boat that I can think of off hand.

I have news for everyone.. Those topkicks, 650's & sport chassis aren't pulling around excavators and loaders in their spare time. They are just trucks for pulling boats, which this one fits that bill nicely.

My Dually will pull something like 30,000 lbs. If you are pulling a boat that heavy, at that point you might want to re-evaluate your truck.

88k is cheap for this.

I have a 38ft stacker, and my 1ton did ok...not great, but better than I thought it would. An MDT would be much better. A 48ft stacker, with say, 3 modifieds, fuel, tools and spares...I'd lean heavily towards a class 8, HDT. If I had that coin though, I'd either have a Show Hauler, or a dedicated rig and driver.

Ford detunes the F550, 650 and 750, the F450 is the same tune as the F250 and 350
