APP controlled Ceiling Fans

I have 2 Modern Fourm Fans and they work off a WiFi and they have their own network….. set up was a weird deal one of the wired electronics was bad on one fan….
We don’t use the app just a wall switch. kinda weird set up they don’t work with out a WiFi signal. Not much to explain. wall switch has control for lights dimmer and fan on /off and speed and direction of fan clock wise / counter clockwise

I recently added a WiFi switch for our Frt porch lights on /off
you can program it for an actual time or dusk /dawn or phone app on/off

no need for a photo cell or special wiring.

im going to add another WEMO switch for interior lights automatic on/off, when we are gone from the house lights will click on /off automatically

We use Sonoff switches for many of the devices at work. They work great but they aren’t the smallest. I presume you would need to mount the switch in the attic if you used it with a fan.

the app they use is called eWeLink. It’s made some decent improvements over the year or so we have used it and seamlessly links access to our multiple WiFi switches.
