Although there is not too many flats in New England the enjoyment my boat brings to so many people every summer is more than enough.

Maybe its just me but taking the boat out takes on a whole life of its own compared to the other 3 boats I have/had this year.

I tell people there have been times where my mood kind of sucked and I would hook up the flat and go for a ride by myself, left the water a different person, kind of a nirvana.

I
Nice

Tell me more about this model. If I remember only a few of these built (with the drop down dash )

Really clean boat 👍🏼

I’ll link (or try) to a thread I started years ago about it on another forum. I wish I knew more about the model, but it did seem pretty rare (one of six as told to me by the third owner who I bought it from). Bubbledeck, with that strange - bit cool IMO - gauge pod dash. Sanger titled it as a 19 foot Family Ski. It was a 1971 model, but wasn’t sold until 1975, with the first owner being drag boat racer Jack Cayer. Let’s see if the link works. If not, I’ll copy/paste the text.

...I had forgotten that I shot this video about 12 years ago... on a balmy day when I had the entire lake of Lake Oroville all to myself...
...I have seen photos of the carnage of all my toys from the fire...but I don’t have anything that isolates the the ashes of the Hallett as of yet...

I wish I had some words that would make this better, Willie. It's a terrible thing.

I hope you recover from the health issue soon.

...Thanks my friend and to everyone else for their support...definitely been a rough one...I am out of the hospital and slowly recovering ...it turns out I have Diviculoratosis..pollups catching food in my lower intestine...not fun at all...I’m going to have to go through a severe diet change...Shouldn’t be a problem ...long long time ago I did a three-year stint as a vegetarian ... Which during that time is when I built the elaborate solar power system in my motorhome ...which also is now ashes from the fire...don’t think I’ll have to take the diet that far this time...

...Well I thought about not posting this picture...and I still really do not have a picture of the Hallet or the ashes of the Hallett???..,But somewhere in that mess the way it was described to me is there is just a trailer frame with the motor sitting on it I would assume that just the block and heads may have survived...what my friend a retired fireman said was it was a very hot fire...
