Emerald cove was closed by employees and when campers asked for a refund by the masses. It was opened back up next day. They tried to close access down on Cali side last Saturday and failed miserably.
So some authority told them to close? Or they decided themselves? If they were ordered to close, how/why did they re-open? Seems a bit like a circus.Emerald cove was closed by employees and when campers asked for a refund by the masses. It was opened back up next day.
They decided to close it not ordered to from what my friend was told. Then when the campers asked for a refund it opened right back up. They closed our bathroom also and same deal campers were like where do we shit. Bathroom opened back up.So some authority told them to close? Or they decided themselves? It seems funny all this talk about closing Havasu and saying that it can not be done. I not sure about but I do know that Lake Powell, Mead are closed so what's the difference with Havasu.

No it was debunked. The Mayor of LHC came out and said no. They don't have the authority to do so. It's a federal water way. Several launch ramps are state property. The state has said they have no intention of closing them at this time.
