We spent a 1000 summers at Cotton Cove. Been to Lake Mead, Temple Bar, Meadview, Parker and LHC. I am not down on LHC, it just reminds me of California East. This is exactly why we built our vacation House in Fort Mohave and launch from Jack Smith Park. Been to all the Happy Hour's I am ever going to see long ago. I think we are at the best part of the River and run from JSmith Park to Lake Havasu and back and never get tired of the trip. We will have 14 - 16 Family & Friends at the House with Boats and SxS's in a couple of weeks including our first Grandson.

You nailed it with your write up... it's The River in all of it's simplicity. No more, no less.

Great write up. Having only lower river Martinez/Fisher's experience I'm realizing I need to make a trip north. Scared I wont want to go back though.

Nothing to see up there, stay in Havi and Parker. We'll send the water down stream.
