Any inmates residents of Santa Clarita? We are still looking to move by end of Summer this year, and this is an area we are considering. We have narrowed it down to either Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, or Santa Clarita.
My grandparents and cousins have lived in Saugus for 25 years and the area seems to stay pristine clean, which I really like. I'm not crazy about how busy the town is in general, there is alot of street traffic. It does have alot for the kids to do, lots of great sports programs, parks, and the schools are supposed to good.
We're looking to move somewhere we can stay for 15-20 years and raise the kids, who just turned 6 and 8. My wife wants there to be alot of neighborhood kids, a strong sense of community, fun neighbors in our age group, etc etc. We're worried we may not have that in Thousand Oaks and Simi. There is alot more house inventory in Santa Clarita, newer homes with better floorplans, many turn-key that dont need a full gut / remodel.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on Santa Clarita, the good and the bad.
Thanks
