I haven’t heard of them before, but it’s not exactly in my wheel house right now..

What do ya know? And what do you think?

The 82 yr old guy I bought my Skater from has a new 28' with a single 350 verado. He says it does mid 60's and they love it. Handles SF Bay pretty well he says. I believe he ordered it with suspension seats.

Like many of the "Euro" Style, there's no bow flair. I've heard and would tend to think they'd be a wet ride.

Looks more like a "yacht tender" than a recreational craft.

Not my cup of tea, but I can see the utility in such a craft.

Any boat that requests boating in long pants falls under "too damn snooty for me."

Like many things of "European style", it seems to follow a trend. This one being of the slim lines in the bow area. Probably works fine for a day boat in calm water, but I do agree that when things get sloppy, the admiral will be asking why they didn't buy the pilothouse model??

Don't like the open transom or the short gunwhales on a blue water boat.

Here's a vid of one running in not very big water. I wouldn't want to come back from Catalina in one in the afternoon.

That video was fairly underwhelming.. I'd rather be in my Hallett.

It's the pointed prow that makes these boats look amazing but they ride really wet when you start getting into anything rough. I love the Van Dutch's but they suffer from the same problem here is one coming into the harbor on a light day:

Saw a closed cabin version on Monday cruising through Newport Harbor. It is pretty sharp looking in person.
