Who do you guys recommend for home owners in Lake Havasu City?
The quotes I have been getting are more than I pay for a house with a pool in CA

I have found Farmer's to have the best Homeowners rates in town. I have State Farm and the homeowners only portion is dramatically higher (more than double) but when I add in all te other things including liability Umbrella it is the lowest overall cost. If you are looking for homeowners only and will be located somewhere also for the rest of your stuff I would try Farmers.

Try Anthony Osokopf at (928) 208-7017, he's the Farmer's agent I have good luck with in town....give him a call and at least get a quote.

For my 2nd residence I used AAA, it was $715 last year but jumped to $775 this year, I may have to call Arizona Kevin.

1300 sq ft, no pool. Something like 180k dwelling coverage.

We had State Farm for many years, until we had some slab water damage. The local agent wouldn't give us any information as to whether or not this was actually covered and directed us to a claims number. We called the claims folks SIMPLY TO ASK ABOUT COVERAGE. The A$$hat on the other end was rude as hell threatening to drop us for even opening a claim!

So, now we have AAA.

I grew up south of pecos, my understanding is that before the 90's that was all dirt and farms out there.
