Been a while. Was an old Jet boat guy turned prop. I go back to the old Hot Boat (Blown509Liberator was my screen name), Havasu Barney days. Used to live Chicago area boated On fox Chain o lakes. Move to Las Vegas/ Henderson in '10. Now I am on Mead most weekends.

Dave met you at Ming in the 90's . (Edit 2000's . Damn I am old/....

And my new project. I fell in love with this hull a while back. I found this poor guy locally. It a 1986 Nordic Viking 23'. We have a 385 stroker (3.75 stroke/.040 over ) build for it 450ho/400tq. With a 290 VP SP. Hope to see you guys on the water.

Well motor is built, we'll build a running stand next week and fire it . Some detail for those that asked. Fyi old dui distributor I had and a holley that was originally tuned for this type of motor both will not be used in the boat I am also I'm plumbing it up so I can run cooling water through it while it's running on the stand so I'm using an old 4.3 thermostat housing assembly that I had and using some new glm manifolds that I have lying around 4 small block. Heads, I ended up buying some new generic aluminum ones off Amazon. I talked to the company selling them, they talked them and to me they seemed pretty good once we got them. We took them apart CC'ed them clean them up lapped valves and installed.
