How many have project's that you have put on the back burner for one reason or another ( Children, building a new house, rebuilding a boat etc.)

This is my back burner project, I hope to have it running sometime this year. It still need's a lot of work, but I have two "mule" engine's I can put in it to run until I build the proper Boss 302 for it. I purchased the car for
$2,000. about 12 year's ago. The owner believed it to be a '69 fastback Mustang with a Boss 302 engine. It was actually a '69 Boss 302 car with a 289 2 brl. some one put in it. He wanted $ 2,400. for it, but I got him down to $ 2,000. Ford built 1,628 '69's and over 7,200 70's.:

Great find, great story. If I had any extra, I would toss you some just to see it restored. Love mustangs.

I bought this a little over a year ago. I haven't found the time to do anything with it yet. This picture was taken at my shop. It sat in this same spot for about almost a year before I got around bringing home. I figured once I brought it home I'd find the time to work on it. Needless to say, its been sitting at my house for 3 months and I haven't done shit to it.

Wow, if that's a real boss it's currently worth quite a few more bucks than what you paid! 69-70 are my favorite mustangs BTW. I have so many back burner projects myself that it would be impossible to list them all. There are three cars and two motorcycles that currently live in my garage, my poor boat that got kicked out of the garage into the yard this winter to make room for other stuff, and a bone stock f150 that I drive every day which mostly sits out in the weather. Of course, that's not including the home renovation projects or the snowblower that blew a head gasket the other day, and which for no very good reason, is currently undergoing some port and polish work in my basement (you know, since it was already taken apart & all).:D

I actually built(had built) this engine a few year's ago. I had most of the part's sitting around for year's and decided to do something with them. I built a 351w with a set of Cleveland style heads. The heads are NASCAR C-302B heads. They pre-date the NASCAR Yates heads by a generation.
The problem is I need to drop the engine in the engine compartment for a trail fit.

The engine is a 9.5" deck block, the heads have a raised exhaust port it shouldn't be any tighter than a FE with headers, but I'll have to have a set of custom headers built for it. :

I believe that it is a 70 block, 70 heads(factory new),12.5 pistons, single 4 intake and tunnel ram, and all other parts to complete..... i will check. I haven't even looked at this stuff in years. I wrote the car off 20 years ago

That would be cool....what happened to the car?
