Back in the game...after a 3 year break.

Well, after a year of careful reflection and shopping various options, we pulled the trigger on a new (to us) sled. Got a deal we couldn't resist, and a boat that looks like it is fresh off the showroom floor. We've known the owner for 15 years and know how anal he is with his stuff so we are confident that the boat is in top condition (AJ confirmed this also). This is our second Hallett after having a 245 built in '99. It was hard to leave the DCB family, but Paul said we can still wear the black socks.

Congrats! For me, the bigger boat can be a pain whe towing, trying to get into gas stations, parking, etc, but once its on the water I really like the bigger boat. No need to worry or stress about water conditions, especially on the lakes.

Yeah, it's a big boat.. lots of headroom in the mid-cabin.. it even has air-ride drop out bolsters. Lots of cool stuff.
